My experience with this school has been increasingly bad as time has progressed. Background information on myself- I am an educated working mother of two. I pay my bills on time, and I pulled my child from this center because there has been too many issues to detail here. My son started two years ago when he was four, and I was forced to remove him this week because the employees were not watching the children, and he witnessed inappropriate behavior. He was then questioned about what he saw without me. I was told about the incident after the fact. I am not ok with any adult interrogating my child about anything without me. I am not ok with being informed after the fact. I addressed an employee today with the fact that my son was not returning and that I did not like him being questioned, that he felt like he was in trouble, and got the response "He seemed ok then". So because my son is not a child who cries, that makes it ok??? The school would not tell me who was involved in the incident. Now had there been no previous issues, this was enough to be done here. But there have been plenty others, a few of which I will detail here. The employees seem to sit around and talk to each other rather than interact with or watch the kids, which is obvious from the incident above. My son has a permanent skull deformation from him crashing heads with another child on the playground. Noone informed me, and Im sure its because noone was watching him. He had headaches for three days before he told me that it had happened. One time he became ill at school and was running a high fever. They left him shivering on a cot for the hour it took me to get back from work, without his coat or even a blanket. When I mentioned to the woman in charge, it was dismissed with a comment to the effect that his teacher must just be distracted. I feel like this center has many problems that stem from the top. I have had concerns about the cleanliness of the center, called to speak to the owner, and was told there is no way to stop the kids from catching everything. I disagree. If the toys were cleaned more often, there would be alot less outbreaks. There is a playroom where none of the toys are cleaned ever, which was told to me directly by an employee. The toys in the other rooms are supposedly cleaned once a week. So whoever comes in sick and touches them pollutes them so every other child can be sure to catch it during the next five days. There is always a pile of flyers in the front detailing conjunctivitis, impetigo, scarlet fever, croup, etc...So I guess clean nothing and put up a flyer. I once heard an employee who was mopping say to another, I have not mopped this floor for over a month. Seriously??? Pure laziness in my opinion. In the winter, the playground is not shoveled, and the children are not allowed to go outside, except for an occasional walk around the parking lot. Other centers take the kids out regardless of snow, but these guys are too spoiled to go out in the cold with the kids. I put up with these issues until it was blatantly made fact that they do not do their job. I have spent at least fifteen thousand dollars, if not more, for these people to take care of my child. This is a do as little as possible, spend as little as possible, factory. Most of the employees are very young and inexperienced, and there is huge turnaround. If you care about the safety and health of your child, this is not a place I would ever recommend. I am aware that no place is ever like being with your own child, but this place is miles and miles from what I consider acceptable. I am not normally a reviewer, but when it comes to people being aware of the safety of their children, I felt it was my duty to leave a review.

I have nothing but great things to say about Wonder Years. My now seven year old graduated from kindergarten there, and my 3 year old is still there. My seven year old was reading entire books by the time he was four, and I credit wonder years for that ( and Miss Jen in particular, one of the sweetest, nicest teachers Ive ever met). They make the learning part fun. There was never a time when either boy wasnt excited about going there for the day. The teachers and assistants are attentive and very affectionate, which i love. They also do a lot of hands on projects every day. Making home made play-doh, various art projects, decorating cookies for holidays, etc. There is also a more personal feel to this particular daycare as well. Several times Ive been surprised to find really cute pictures of my kids, either in the classroom or outside, that a teacher has taken and printed out for me to take home, just because they thought it was a cute picture. I think its pretty awesome that they would take the time to do that. I am so lucky to have a place like this to send my kids to every day and i recommend Wonder Years to anyone thats looking for a safe, loving, educational, and fun environment for their little ones.

We, as a family, have been attending Wonder Years for nearly 4 years. I drop in whenever I want and witness the daily routine often. Though in years past there was briefly a high turnover, for the last couple years there have been a wonderful group of girls caring for the children. I have witnessed personally, EVERY evening, the building and toys being cleaned. It is a very clean facility that I have always been comfortable leaving my children at. My children have always been given a great deal of one on one attention...The teachers and assistants make a huge effort to know each child and support their needs. My son has autism and was so well taken care of that he loved going to Wonder Years. Even now when we pick his sister up I have to drag him away in order to go home. The quality of teachers, assistants and directors have done nothing but improve over the years. On the rare occasion that I had an issue after speaking to the director it was received quickly. No center is perfect but Wonder Years makes a huge effort to try to be. I look forward to 2+ more years there!

I have been bringing my children to this school for many years . This center has always worked with me when ever I have a had a problem and try and help me out. The teachers at this center are great with these children. There is always some activity taking place when I drop them off and pick them up, whether it is singing songs in the morning or circle time or in the afternoon when I pick them up and they are coming off the playground . I love that my 4 1/2 year old already knows how to write her name, knows her shapes and colors ! They do a great job as far as keeping me informed when something is going on with my child, especially when my child is sick or if there is a special activity that will take place that I can attend . Every night that I walk in to pick up my childrens back packs, someone is always cleaning . I would highly recommend Wonder Years Learning Center to any one looking for a school for their child, they will have a great experience and make great friends !
