Dr. Day Care should maybe be called Factory Day care instead. We were considering this setting for our daughter and as we went from room to room on the tour, our hearts sank. In one room there was a large group of kids, maybe twenty, and most of them were not engaged in any activity. They were just sitting there subdued, quite, and not playing. It made me wonder what kind of "training" they got there to make them so passive and compliant. In another room there was a teacher who was clearly warm and spirited but even there all the children were following the same guided activity. In the (rather small) yard the kids were gathered together and none of the teachers seemed to be playing or interacting with the kids. The children were clearly looking for our attention and trying to talk to us. It made me wonder why they are so needy for attention here. That was never our experience at my daughters old day care - when we went to pick her up the children were always engaged in diverse activities and were not looking for attention from us. When we left the place I was ready to cry and so we decided to keep looking. We ended up at another day care which is half an hour away from our home. Dr. Day Care would have been not even ten minutes ride for us but we couldnt bare the thought of leaving our daughter there. We decided it is worth for us to drive ten hours a week so our daughter can be in a setting where the children appear happy and alive and the teachers spirited and engaged.

Just want to say how much I love Dr.Daycare my son has been going there for almost 3 years now and all his teachers have been awesome. Not only that he has learned so much from being there they also do awesome field trips with the kids ! This year the bookmobile also goes to to the school for the kids to get books which encourages them to read ! Overall a good daycare to send your child to ! Highly recommend it !

I have always loved Dr. Day Care. My oldest was ont he first kids to open the center in Pawtucket. I have had great experience witht he summer program and daily activities fromt he infant rooms through to school age. The staff is always committed to great service and provided the children with great care. The are always looking out for the best in the children and always willing to help the parents as well.

My son started here this September and already he can spell his name knows his alphabet and can count well past 30. His teachers are wonderful and they keep me well updated. And socially my son has opened up and i am so impressed with that!!! I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this place and would recommend it to anyone!!!! Keep up the Great work!!!!!!

Excellant daycare for your children, both of my daughters have thrived in their care. One of my daughters was delayed and they had no problem caring for her. Their staff continually worked throughout the day with her doing the recommended therapies that Early Intervention therapists made for her.
