Giving this place 2 stars is very generous considering my experience. After finding a Groupon for this salon, I was happy and surprised to score an appointment on NYE for a highlight, cut, and blow dry. I also asked if I could pay the difference to have my hair curled for the big night, and it wasnt a problem since my stylist had no appointments after me. Firstly, my stylist was shockingly reckless when applying the bleach to my hair, I could see blobs of bleach flying around and when I mentioned that I think some may have landed in my coffee, she didnt seem to believe me or care. So, since I had hair over my face and not the best view I trusted her judgment and continued to drink my coffee. Soon after I found out that a blob landed on the arm of my new sweater and so she apologized, sprayed water on it, then recommended I fill in the lighten area with a sharpie. Since I had my arms out from the smock (to drink the coffee she offered me) it was mostly my fault and I was still optimistic and shrugged it off. But then she started to spray the highlights on my head with water (to neutralize them) and some of watery bleach ran down my forehead, into my eye, causing it to burn. I mentioned this to her and asked if I could put water in it. I thought she would let me up to go to the bathroom, but instead she held out her handy dandy spray bottle, puzzled I thought "do I lean forward and let her spray that in my eye? Thats water, right? Maybe I should put it on my finger and drip it into my eye." I did that later and it was pretty ineffective so I sat and prayed my natural tears would compensate and help flush my eye. She continued, washed my hair, got more stuff in my eye, and when I sat down I noticed my eye sight getting a bit blurry so I told her this and she finally seemed mildly concerned and suggested I rinse it out in the bathroom, so I did. Trying to be be still cheerful and optimistic, we resumed and my hair was cut and dry, all that was left was the curls. Upon watching her put in the first few curls I new they were going to fall so with the conversation being about curls and techniques, I lied and told her that "curls dont hold that well in my hair," hoping she would attempt to make them tighter and hold the heat on them a bit longer. The final product seemed decent enough and the top curls appeared to be more stable so I tipped her well and left to get ready for NYE. When I got home from my 15 min car ride home the curls had fallen quite a bit and the bottom layer was pretty much straight and so were random pieces throughout my hair. My hair had fallen completely before I even arrived at the NYE party I was going to which was only 3 hours later. On top of all of this, I found out I had a huge bleach stain in the back of my 3 day old shirt because of her reckless highlighting techniques. All in all, she did a good job on my hair, was very friendly but just too oblivious and distracted maybe. I forget her name and she didnt seem like a regular or full time stylist there and seemed out of her element. I just hope that this horrible experience isnt a reflection of the salon as a whole.

My daughters long, straight hair didnt emphasize the fine bones and shape of her face, and she looked like just another teenager with long hair. Nothing made her stand out. Mary at Professionally Yours worked with my daughter over the course of a couple of haircuts to give her a new, chic look. She first shortened it to shoulder-skimming length and darkened it to a light auburn. My daughters beautiful blue eyes and high cheekbones immediately stood out! The second haircut was a little shorter in back and longer in front, truly framing her face. She went from looking like a shy 15-year-old to a sophisticated young woman. The cut suited her personality and lifestyle perfectly. They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery...shortly after my daughters first cut, at least 3 girls from her school went out and got the same cut! Thank you, Mary!

Ive always had a good experience here. However, the last time that I got my hair cut, was not a good experience. The stylist, Kelly, disagreed with pretty much everything that I said, she even said that she didnt believe me at one point, didnt give me the cut that I actually wanted, and just seemed downright unrelatable and rude. Im giving the salon 5 stars because they are the only place Ive gone to since I was 6 and Ive always enjoyed going. I am just going to request someone other than Kelly when I go from now on. I do not recommend getting your hair cut by Kelly unless you enjoy long, awkward silences and being told that she doesnt agree with what you say even though youve done research on the topic.

Ive been going to Professionally Yours for months getting my hair cut and colored with Sarah and she is flawless I like to get the more crazy styles done, green hair, shaved sides, and Bettie Page bangs. My mother has also been coming with me to get her hair done at the same time with Sarah but she likes blonde highlights and a short cut. Sarah excels at each task she has and always makes our hair look great. The rest of the staff is so friendly and whenever I see them working on other customers I absolutely love their work. I highly recommend this salon for everything from nails to hair!

I had a great experience from my late afternoon request for an appt which no other salon would accommodate for me by the way till the time I left I was truly impressed. Stephanie my new stylist could not get any better she knew what I wanted took her time until she was sure I was happy well cant say enough about her and the staff at my new salon but thank you I give them a 10

Jason is horrible at cutting hair, the guy shouldnt be allowed near a pair of scissors. Would not reccomend this place to anyone, your better of cutting your own hair. Everyone here is snoody and unprofessional. You pay way to much to have someone with the skill level of a 5 year old cut your hair.

The stylist was amazing. My daughter walked in with orange hair and came out beautiful. I did feel that the stylist took a little too long blowdrying it but all in all she was fabulous.
