These are scam artists!!! stay far away!!. They first told my bro that he had a rear main seal leak and had to seperate the motor for over 1,500 in just labor. The mech. also said they couldnt do it in house so they would have to send it out. He first said there was absolutally NO oil in the engine but slipped up when my bro called back later and told him to just top off the oil and he wanted to get a second opinion so my bro asked how much oil did it take and he said about 2 quarts, Its a 5 quart motor!!! which he said was bone dry and even sent a pic of the dip stick with nothing on it.They also said his VW which has around 70,000 miles on it had "extensive carbon biuild up" which they would need to take off the whole top of the motor intake,fuel system etc, valve covers and then go in with scrappers and rags to remove the "carbon" this vehicle is a parkway driven daily vehicle with meticulous service records. The second opinion he got was just a comfrimation of his doubts. Turns out the rear main seal leak was just the a slight valve cover leak and there was NO "carbon build up" at all, It looked like a well taken care of motor with only 70,000 miles on it. STAY AWAY!!!

Ive always been one NOT to trust auto mechanics. Throughout the years you always hear about people being charged for repairs they didnt even need. But you really dont have to worry with Top Techs. The owners, Keith and Jenn are HONEST, hard working people with integrity and pride in all they do. The shop is not some greasey dump, its a clean and beautiful newly renovated shop with all the latest technology in auto repairs. . " THE BITTER-NESS OF A POORLY DONE JOB, WILL ALWAYS LAST MUCH LONGER THEN THE SWEETNESS OF A CHEAP PRICE" and i would recommend Top techs auto repair to anyone who needs work done! Knowing that both keiths father and Grandfather both owned auto shops of their own also gives you piece of mind knowing hes been around cars and trucks forever and knows what he is doing. Keith was a great help while I was in the process of buying a new car. I had him take a look before the actual purchase. He found one problem wrong, however he explained it to me thoroughly, and gave me an estimated cost for repairs. He knew I was going back to the dealer later that day, he was so kind enough to give me his personal number just in case the dealership had any questions for him. If that werent enough he looked at the car at no cost. Keith made me feel like I could truly count on him and his technicians at top techs. Id highly recommend them to anyone. And another great thing? If your still unsure, drop in and chat with the guys. They will answer all of the questions or concerns you have right there on the spot!

The staff is personable, friendly and very professional. The only items I did not like was they do not work in used parts, which could have saved me some $ and they did not call me when the car was done and I had to call them. The shop is always clean, the staff are ALL friendly. They did drive me to my home given me living locally and they do seem to generally seem to be looking out for the customers best interest.

I dont ever write reviews, yet I had such a good experience I felt obligated. This shop is truly a diamond in the rough! Very professional and HONEST! Key word there people! It is soooo hard finding a honest mechanic that actually knows what they are doing but I found one at Top Tech... Will be returning to them for all future vehicle needs. Thank you again guys!
