I have been using this particular Hair Cuttery on and off since it opened. I stopped going for a long time because it seemed the stylists were more interested in hanging out in the back talking than waiting on clients. There were times I just walked out. Friends of mine had similar experiences. In the past few years I have gone back and have been quite happy with their service. Everyone is very friendly and seems to know their stuff, Davette stands out for me. She is very easy going, I really dont have to explain too much about what I want, she just seems to "get" it. She is always "helpful" and "truthful" when I ask about styling products and I never feel like she is trying to just "make a sale". In my opinion this Hair Cuttery has come a long way from the way it used to be. I hope it continues to stay this way. Its convenient to have them right here in town and their prices are very reasonable. Ive traveled much further to "fancy salons" and paid well over $70 for just a haircut and blow dry (not including tip) and have been very disappointed. Also the prices for the same styling products are absolutely ridiculous. So if you have been disappointed with this Hair Cuttery in the past, give it another chance. You wont be disappointed. BTW: Davette is awesome (my opinion)

My hair looks great. The stylist was friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable. I usually go to a more pricey, upscale, salon, but my usual stylist doesnt do perms. I was surprised to find that thethe 3 other salons I called also only had a one stylist that would do perms. And they were not available at the time. I went to my local Hair cutter and was surprised to see 2 other women there also getting perms. The stylists were very knowledgeable about the process. My stylist discussed my specific needs with me and chose the product that best suited my needs. She did a great job! I highly recommend them and will definitely be going back.

Save your money, go someplace more professional. I went there to get my hair done for a Wedding. Big mistake The girl that was supposed to do my hair did not, she was too busy. Yes I had an appointment well ahead of time. They gave me someone else.I showed her a picture of what I wanted and after two attempts she still could not get it right. I did not have time to waste so I left. Yes, they gladly took my money anyway! I ended up taking it all out when I got home and was almost later for the wedding. Ive heard other horror stories about this place but I figured it was convenient and would give it a try. Stay away.

I never trusted anyone to cut my hair until I met the girls in the hair cuttery (pemberton). They always remember you, do a great job, and remember how your hair works (along with the history of your hair) and give the best advice to maintain healthy hair. When I first started going my hair was in bad condition, but these girls helped me get my healthy locks back without cutting all my hair off and starting fresh.

This hair cuttery usually provides decent haircuts, but you are always waiting atleast an hour. Some of the stylists dont seem like they want to work and just hang out chit chatting in the back or on their cell phones while there is a wait out front. You might get a haircut just as fast driving out to the mt laurel hair cuttery by the time you actually get seen.

I have been going to the Hair Cuttery for the past 5 years. I have never had a bad experience there. I see the same gal each time I go. Davette has never let me down from having my hair colored to highlighter and cut. She is amazing.

Go in around 1:10. No problem "not a long wait she said" 45 min later I walked out the door. Yes ladies I recognize when workers are procrastinating because they dont want to cut my hair and thats prejudice.
