My experience with George Brown at Brown Electric has been extremely negative!! I have asked Mr. Brown NUMEROUS times to please refund my $749.00 deposit. My estimate does not state anywhere that my refund is NON-REFUNDABLE. Furthermore, it was an estimate and not even a contract which was given to me. I have sent him emails, I have called and left messages and have sent him certified and regular mail requesting my deposit be returned. I have been asking him to refund my deposit since December 2012. I, now, have filed a complaint with the BBB and NJ Consumer Affairs, as well as consulted an attorney. I find it to be ridiculous that I have had to request for my deposit of $749.00 to be returned this many times. I have decided to utilize another company. I do not wish to work with Brown Electric and find it very frustrating that I must go through so forms of contacting them to request a refund. BROWN ELECTRIC, DO THE RIGHT THING AND REFUND MY MONEY!

We had a wonderful experience with Brown Electric. He was very considerate and prompt in his response to our inquiry. An appointment was scheduled quickly and I was stunned at how reasonable his prices were compared to others we had received. The work was completed in a timely manner, and we could not have asked for a more professional and kind person. He even took the time to explain things to me, which I found to be a pleasant change from other electrical contractors. I highly recommend Brown Electric. His website is also a wealth of information, unlike others!

Called Brown Electric on a Saturday when only part of our house lost power and was able to speak with the owner directly. George took the time to discuss the problem as well as possible solutions. Since it was not an emergency we scheduled an appointment for the next Monday. George both called before coming to let us know an exact time and was on time. Most importantly, George provided excellent and exceptional service.

We had a sudden and unexpected electrical problem at our home. Im a fairly decent "do-it-yourselfer" - but this problem had me stumped, with power out in parts of several rooms. I called Brown Electric Company and they came out same day, on time, very professional, and charged less than I expected. So good to find a true professional!!! Highest recommendation.

Very helpful and efficient in solving an electrical problem I needed to sell my parents house. There were time constraints and he was able to get the work done quicker than promised. Unlike a previous electrician, he also kept in contact and updated me since I did not live in the area and sent pictures of the progress. I would definitely recommend him

I am very grateful to George Brown for coming out to my house today in 100+ degree weather to troubleshoot why I did not have electricity in 2 rooms. It was a daunting task, but George didnt give up until he found the problem, replaced the faulty outlet and made sure everything was operating properly. Thank you, George for your terrific service!!

I had a 90 year old house with knob and tube to be removed as well as the electric panel replaced. Brown Electric did an OUTSTANDING job quickly and professionally. We were very impressed with the work and the fact that no mess was left when they were done.

When we had crazy wind and snow during the winter, our power line detached from our home. George was prompt, worked with PSEG to follow code and had it reattached within 2 days.
