The person who answers the phone, "Martin Morely" was the rudest, most unprofessional "president of a company" Ive ever spoken to in my life. He mustve thought I was trying to sell him something, but I wasnt. He wouldnt even let me get a word in edgewise because I introduced myself and said I was with a company so he automatically mustve assumed I was selling him something, but I was actually looking for a suggestion on something. When I asked for him by name, his websites domain profile only had him listed as Morley, so thats who I asked for (because I like to know who to ask for when I call for something in order to speak to someone of importance) and he told me I need to address him as "Mister because he is my elder and WE ARENT ON THE SAME LEVEL, WE ARENT EQUALS SON! I couldnt believe my ears! He definitely didnt sound like the "60 year old man" that he claimed to be, he sounded much younger (30s or so). If this is how he treats someone before they get a chance to get a sentence out, I cant imagine how he would do business. I would never recommend hiring them to do anything! If I could rank him negative and file a complaint against them with the Better Business Bureau I would; and Im actually considering the latter. This person should be ashamed and embarrassed with himself because I was actually embarrassed for him due to his complete and utter ignorance and nasty tone. Again, never in my life have I dealt with such a rude person; and because I didnt even get a chance to speak to him about doing business bc of this, I need to rate them at this level.I believe you are the one who "NEEDS TO BE SCHOOLED SON," and learn how to speak to people with respect and not rush to judgement before you actually know why someone is calling you. You just lost any chance you wouldve had at my business and anyones I know!

The electricians that were sent to my home were totally incompetent. While taking off switch plates, they damaged my walls. They also dropped tools on my wood floor at least 4 times AFTER I told them to be careful. When they finally quoted me a price for the job, I asked for an itemized break down and they refused to provide me with one. The boss called me on the phone and began yelling and screaming at me and my husband because we wanted an estimate for each job to be done instead of a total price. After paying for the estimate, I promptly asked the electricians to put back the switch plates on the wall and leave. These men began yelling and became threatening. When they put the switch plates back on the walls, they were misaligned and missing screws. The worst experience I have ever had. Do not use these guys. After the incident, the boss called my home and threatened to sue me because I was rude to his men when I asked them to leave. July 27, 2011

I called Affordable electric for a problem with my electricity. A technician was sent out, spent 5 mins looking around. He didnt pay attention to what I said. Long story short, they sold me an expensive job and said it would solve my problem. After they left, the problem persisted. I called back as I had a warranty. They came out and a different technician found the actual problem. A quicker and much cheaper fix. They wanted me to pay money for that job. I refused as they misdiagnosed the problem the first time and never fixed the issue. In the end, they didnt fix my issue and caused me a huge headache. I would look for someone else. They have a BBB symbol on their site but I cannot find them at all on the BBB website.

Phone service from first call was perfect. I was offered an AARP discount for my Moms home , given an appointment and that appoint was prompt and as promised. The Electricians that came out were knowledgeable , very well versed and prepared to do what they needed to do when they got here. We received a call in the morning with an ETA and they were 1/2 hour early, they diagnosed the problem at the home and they were well prepared to do my repairs on the spot. I will confidently recommend this company to everyone without hesitation, Email me for any other info but simply , these guys are GOOD , very FAIR PRICED & Old fashioned service.

They did such a great job with my electric work! I saw that they were clean and efficient, very professional! They even helped us with problems others left behind. They are kind and extremely helpful. I would recommend them to anyone in a heartbeat! They worked the whole time he was on the clock. Awesome job! I plan on calling them in the future.

I agree with most on here. Very rude and unprofessional. I dont buy that it was the call center to blame. I called and could barely get a straight answer without getting talked down to. Isnt it funny that positve reviews all came suddendly and consistently with near similar screen names?

The best in service and prices . 30 years plus and still doing great work. The crew and company is the best ! Uniformed , Company paid Employees , No Sub Contractors . Fully stocked work truck sent and ready to work on the spot . They beat all written estimates by at least 10% :-)

I made a mistake of engaging Affordable Electric because they sport a BBB sign on their Web Site. What a mistake - these people are rude, unprofessional, and downright insulting. Not surprising that they DO NOT have BBB sponsorship! A glaring case of false advertising.

I called to talk to Marketing and got a VERY rude response before I was able to even say who I was and what I wanted. Have to say, its quite unappealing when you are trying to do something which will benefit THEIR company.

I was trying to schedule for an electrician to come out do an estimate and the guy hang up the phone. Never use anyone who hang up the phone.
