Edit August, 2017: I recently had my one year complimentary service completed by Kevin M. While there he added a new quick release valve in the condensate line so that it can be blown out easily in future services (inside the house), and replaced a potentially faulty contact that appeared to be responsible for a chattering/grinding sound when the AC started. Not only was he extremely knowledgeable, he was very patient and thoroughly answered every question I had. Extremely professional. And both of these services were completely covered. I could not be happier with my decision in choosing Rubino Service. Original review ~July, 2016: I needed to replace my home heating and air conditioning systems so I began the process by getting a quote from a south Jersey area local, and what outwardly appeared to be popular, service and installation company. Their quote seemed unreasonably high, but what really struck me was the pressure applied by the salesman. He insisted I schedule the installation date before he left my house, denying me time to adequately consider his offer or think about my decision. It was the "hardest" sell Ive ever experienced, and Ive bought or leased more than my share of new cars. After emailing him and canceling the installation, I asked a neighbor for her recommendation. She told me shed been using Rubino since the mid nineties (20 years) and couldnt speak more highly of them. Since that first call, my Rubino salesman Mike R. has been to my house four times: Once for the initial, very pleasant discussion for the quote (which I obviously decided to agree upon a few days after he left), once to take measurements and pictures to aid him when talking to Rubino installers prior to the job, once on the morning of the installation to be sure the installers were doing what was agreed upon, and finally at the end of the installation to go over warranty information and receive payment. With respect to the installation, the installers, Nick and Jeff, were on time, very cordial, clean, quite, friendly to my dogs, and did what appears to be a very professional installation. I am completely satisfied with every aspect of the encounter. I wont speak negatively about the other company, or even mention their name. All Ill say is, since youre reading this, get more than one quote before having your job done, and do yourself a favor by having one of the quotes come from Rubino. Then make your decision.

I was treated extremely unfairly by a technician and management at/with this company. The language used by this person to me was rude and inappropriate. Additionally, he was smoking cigars in my driveway and ecigs in my laundry room where the repairs was being made. This same technician also misdiagnosed my heating problem, overcharged me for the issue at hand, and never really fixed the real problem. Also, per the owner, several company policies/procedures were not followed and caused excessive time/labor to resolve what should have been a routine no heat call. This company charges 3-4X going rates on both labor and parts. They also are rude to their customers and the quality of their technicians is poor. I would not trust this company in my home with my family and will not be contacting them ever again. BEWARE!

I want to tell you about an experience I had . I called you because my tenant was having an issue with the heat. They said it would be $89. to come out. From my past experience with several different service companies, they charge you a fee to come out and determine the issue. If they repair the problem the either waive the service call charge deduct it from the total amount. Not only did you charge me the 89. but you the charge me 125 (based on a 250 per hr fee) to tell me the thermostat was bad. You then wanted to charge me another 135 to replace the thermostat. My husband ended up going to Lowes and paying 50 for a new thermostat and putting it in myself. I would have had no issue with paying the 89 for him to come out and diagnosis the problem but $214!!!! Needless to say I will NEVER use you again

The only HVAC company I use. They replaced my central air unit a couple of years ago. Their sales tech/rep answered all my questions, broke down the prices of options, and gave me competitive figures for the unit I chose and its installation. The other company reps I talked to were ok, but werent as knowledgeable, and their pricing wasnt as transparent. Unlike Rubinos, they didnt or couldnt provide the info I needed to compare brands and prices. The Rubino techs whove done routine maintenance as part of my service contract have all been courteous and knowledgeable. They have helped keep my AC and furnace trouble-free. I think this company is great, and I plan to use them for HVAC installs and service as long as I can.

We had our A/C serviced by Jeff the other day. Not only was he totally professional but very friendly and very helpful in answering some questions we had. He took his time and explained what he was doing with the A/C at each step. He was honest in accessing whether our aging system would last another season not scaring us into buying a new unit. Jeff said it should be OK for the summer but keep an eye on it. Very much appreciated the honest approach. Kudos Rubino for hiring really good people.

We had a new heating and air conditioning system installed. The system replaced the original system that was installed when our home was built. We have noticed a much more consistent even temperature thruogh out the house. Workers arrived on time and was courteous and respectful of our home . We were given multiple choice of systems . Very satisfied with their recommendation. We have been customers of Rubino Service for over 30 years, and have recommended them to friends .

He is very knowledgeable and well spoken in terms of explaining the service he was doing with our HVAC system. Highly recommend Rubino Service as they are always honest and straight forward with their pricing and take the greatest care to maintain the cleanliness and order of you home when performing actual service work.

Have been a very satisfied customer of Rubino Service Co.since March of 2004.We needed a new heat/ac system at that time.We obtained three estimates from different companies and decided to go with Rubino.Have had our heater/ac checked each year since.Each worker that comes into our home is courteous and knowledgeable.The office staff is always pleasant and accommodating.No complaints EVER!

Weve had a service contract with Rubino for years. Their service is exceptional, professional and in every way what a homeowner would seek in a heating/cooling company. My only complaint is that they are SO good at what they do, that it can sometimes be difficult to schedule one of my two seasonal maintenance check-ups! This is a company you can trust!
