Had an appointment will Bill at this salon. After all the rave reviews, which I now have to wonder if they are genuine, was extremely dissatisfIed. When I called to make the appointment with Bill, I also inquired about his price for cut and blowout. The price I was quoted was $15 less than what he charged me and that was without curling it with curling iron. Worse than that, being my first time there, you would think the stylist would sit with customer to meet them and find out what and how they wanted their haircut and styled. Instead I was directly taken back to get my hair washed. Btw, there were only 2 other customers in the shop. It was a cold and unfriendly atmosphere. My hair was not cut the way I asked and the blowout was horrible! If one were to read Bills bio on the website, you would clearly believe you had the wrong person. Lesson to be learned, dont believe everything you read, especially reviews!

I had a colour consultation at 11:00 with Sam. Three days before, I got a call reminder and one day before, a text asking me to confirm. On the day of the appointment, 15 minutes before 11:00 I got a call from who I assumed was the receptionist telling me Sam had a doctors appointment and had to cancel. Do you want to reschedule? No apology, nothing. So I was bombarded with reminders and then the salon decided to cancel close to appointment time. I had to drive 45 mins out of state and took a day off work, I was miffed. I thought Martino Cartier Salon would at least have the decency to call a day before about the cancellation, being as Martino Cartier was well-known. Well, apparently the salon does not respect their customers.

DO NOT go here for extensions. Rachel, the stylist who put them in obviously didnt know what she was doing. Within a few days a few of the extensions ripped out huge chunks of my hair. When I went back to have them fixed, the other stylist told me that Rachel didnt put them in right and didnt put enough hair between the tape-ins. I was furious. I had to go back 2x to get them fixed and they still arent right. I paid $650 total and have to get them taken out. I will never return to this salon.

I think one of the most important things for me is time. I am RARELY kept waiting more than a few minutes (if that). In addition to that, Bill is my go-to guy and never lets me down: candid, funny, a master at his craft. Thank you!!!!!
