My family and I have been going to Alan at m and r for decades ( really ). This is the only shop I trust, there have been many times when he either fixed something small for a very reasonable price, or told me that something was not worth fixing ( meaning he looked at it for free and passed up a chance to make good money on a repair ). Just TRY to find another shop that will be so honest. I have used other mechanics in my twenty years of driving, and been ripped off enough to cling to M and R like my life depended on it. Also, very importantly, he always makes time for his customers, even when they are obviously busy. I really cant say enough positive things about this shop. Try it, you wont be disappointed !!

Honest, dependable, trustworthy, and reasonable prices...did I mention HONEST. Al is very nice and wont have you perform any work that you dont need only work that you actually need done on your vehicle. I have and would continue to recommend M&R to anyone who needs work done on their car. Dont take my word for it, go in and get an estimate you wont be sorry. He has been much more reasonably priced on any work Ive needed done on my own car and my family too. And I dont mean by a few dollars. I dont usually write reviews, but I tend to look at them before I go. M&R gets VERY high praise from me, worth the time to write this review...great mechanic will continue to bring all my vehicles here.

I recommend this shop fully. Quality work, honest, quick. I had a new battery installed, a tire patched (thats right they didnt try to sell me a new pair of tires), and an alignment. I was expecting to pay a ton more than I did which is always a pleasant surprise. I can vouch for these guys.

I have to take my Honda Civic over to M and R Tire because the car was making some weird noises. They were great over there. They diagnosed the problem with my car and got me back on the road within an hour. I have to say they are the best auto repair or mechanic shop in Orange NJ.
