Mike and the Boys (pun intended) are great. Very accommodating and knowledgeable. I had a trailer hitch wire wrapped around my axle and he voluntarily stayed past 7pm (closing time) to help unravel it from beneath my car. He also didnt charge me anything. Now, I had to get the axle replaced due to the boot being crumpled by the wire, but thats the hazard of driving on roads in NJ. Make sure you talk to Mike (the manager) when youre there, as he is good about getting back to you in the appropriate time frame. He is also very flexible on diagnosing your issues; instead of simply gouging you for over $100 (like the Midas in Totowa) just to hook your car up to the scanner. I would definitely recommend this Pep Boys location; but make sure you talk to Mike.

Been visiting this Pep Boys location for the last 2 year for tires. First few times has been fine, but my latest visit will also be my last visit. I came in with directional tires and I made it a point to let the technician know that the tires were directional. When they were done, I find that 3 of the tires were mounted in one direction. After confronting the tech that he had made a mistake, he tried to convince me that I can just rotate the tires and it will be fine. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?! Never again, lied straight to my face after you knew well that you had made a mistake but didnt want to fix it. Had I been someone who didnt know better I could have driven off with wrongly mounted tires. Absolutely awful. Stay away.

I tried ordering tires online. I was told my local store did not have them in stock and therefore online ordering was unavailable. I went in person and spoke to a Tina. She said the tires would be ordered from another store and should be here by Tuesday. I waited till Wednesday to make sure they were there. When calling Wednesday I was told the other store cancelled the delivery to my local store. Tina looked around for another store and the best thst could be done was an order from the tire distributor. That delivery would take a few days. With all this ordering-not in stock-cancel debacle I missed out on a deal where I bought 3 tires and the 4th was free. I will never shop at Pep Boys again.

The sign of a good company isnt that they dont make mistakes. The sign of a good company is that when mistakes are made, they respond to the consumer (me) and take actions to correct those mistakes. Pep boys certainly impressed me by doing just that. Pep boys certainly went above and beyond my expectations by doing exactly that. They admitted they screwed up, assured me that they would improve the process going forward, and went above and beyond to correct the problem and assure my satisfaction. I would certainly recommend this business to my friends.

Ordered 2 tires and scheduled an installation. Arrived at the scheduled time and was told we would have to leave the car and hopefully it would be done by end of day ... it also turns out that the actual tires werent in stock, so we had to come back the next day. John, the manager, did the RIGHT THING!!! And turned a problem situation in to an experience where despite the problem, we were taken care of an handled the mishap beautifully! Thank you John ... even though we had a rough situation ... your customer service was FABULOUS!! Thank you!

The guys stayed well post closing time to replace my damaged left front tire, which Ive purchased elsewhere. Post replacement, the car pulled to one side because of more tread on the new tire than on the older right front one. Came back the next day for a free rotation (to the back) to stop the pulling. Car rides well now. They even did a warranty damage verification with the other place where Ive purchased the new tire because I had a road hazard warranty on it, so Ill get reimbursed. Overall, Im happy I came here.

Excellent service at this location. John does a great job managing the service. The techs are genuine auto techs. They know what they are doing. I observe how they treat women customers. The ones that are vulnerable to this industry. They are fair, honest and patient. I just had them put tires on my wifes car. She was pleased with the service.

This service center was great. Everyone there was helpful and treated you with respect. I had 4 tires mounted and balanced fast. The manager went out of his way to help every customer in there. I would recommend this place to everybody.
