Wow, seems like Im not the only one who thinks this place sucks. My God, these people are extremely rude. I call in the morning to make an inquiry about my package. Before I could get a few words out the lady says "hold on, one minute", put me on hold forever and never returned. I suspect she just didnt feel like doing her job. I call back a few minutes later, and some rude dude picks up. He had poor manners and sounded very impatient. Look, I understand this probably is not the most exciting job, I get that, but once you commit to a position, be fair to your customers and give them good customer service. "Good morning," "how may I help you?" and "thank yous" are a GREAT start!

They are constantly misdelivering and/or marking items as delivered when they have not been delivered. I order a lot of items on ebay and it is extremely important not to mark a package as delivered if it has not been delivered yet. Sometimes I get it the next day or a few days later. Instead of delivering packages wherever the driver feels like he should actually look at what he is delivering to our multi-unit complex. I specifically have our unit on the packages and sometimes I get them sometimes I dont and then Im the one out of luck.

If i could I would give it less. This office deserves not 1 star. Man that answered the phone is a rude and arrogant person. Has no respect or any form of communication skills. This office should close considering its out dated and Carlstadts brand new one is up and running and they actually enjoy helping people. East Rutherfords post office is where to go if you love being abused. Have a great day and hope to some miracle this office shuts down.

Terrible service, limited hours of operation, unfriendly staff, unwillingness to help, long waits, not enough staff onsite, package tracking absolutely sucks, lost items, the list goes on and on.... I can honestly say that I cannot think of one positive thing about the US Post Offices in general no matter which office Ive visited. Typical government employees with zero work ethic. These workers wouldnt last one day at UPS or FedEx.

Other then the one transplant from the Rutherford PO, this is the best PO in the area in my experience. I am shocked at the poor reviews. Yes, the dummy from the Rutherford PO is rude (unless you are an attractive female) but Bonni has always been helpful and the other staff at least tries to do a good job. Go figure. At least the supposed bad image keeps the lines short.

This place is such a joke.... State Workers that dont want to work.. Open at 9 close at 4 and they still have a puss on there faces. Who ever said Bonni is a great example of good customer service is a fool.. Must be her sister or somthing b.c this women is so nasty to everyone makes people walk out. The also close 3:55 most days they should just shut this place down...

Service is poor. Carlstadt post office had burned down and mail is being redirected here and if one person is out, mail is not sorted. There are days that the company I work for barely gets any mail and it seems a lot of it gets "lost". I hope Carlstadt will have it own post office soon. Currently taking business mail to main post office in Rutherford.

I called to see what time they closed and the man said "4 OCLOCK EVERYDAY!" i said ok then he hung up without asking me if that was all i needed. WTF IS HES PROBLEM!!!!!

Their all so nice, and very helpful. They are better than the Jersey City one on Westside Avenue.
