I check the online tracking on a package Im supposed to receive from UPS. It says it was handed over to my local P.O for delivery yesterday. It was scanned at Rutherford and sent to Wood Ridge P.O. So by the Wood Ridge info, it says that they attempted to deliver but couldnt and left a delivery notice at the house. um... NO such thing was left at my house. So I call WR PO and I explain - I also mention I am on the block where they are re-doing sidewalks and that the block has been closed off to cars; I said I didnt get mail yesterday either. He smugly tells me that mail was delivered yesterday - I said, well, not to me. He tells me they dont have the package there and that UPS must have it. I said it says it was handed over to my local PO... so he says "maybe it will be delivered today. It has to get scanned at Rutherford first". So I said well I see that it was already scanned and it is now in Wood Ridge w/ this undeliverable message and that there was a notice, but no notice was left. He goes "did you check the tracking on it?" Are you kidding me?!?! I said "where do you think I am getting all of this information from???" So he says they dont have it there..then some mumble jumble, then mentions that its a small thing, a bag. I said yes, its 2 shirts. He puts me on hold. He comes back, "Its here..." HOLY COW... "What do you want us to do with it?" ..this has to be a joke.. "Well, you are the post office, can you deliver it???" I check the tracking again, and again, it wasnt delivered. I called back and the woman tells me there is all construction and the mailman couldnt deliver it. I said well what about yesterday? I mean, we all got to our porches. The construction crew wouldnt let the mailman in. Ok, I get that. Then WHY hasnt anyone told me this AFTER Ive called and explained the construction part already?? So, no package today either. I understand why it wasnt delivered, but what it took to get to that part was ridiculous. Especially w/ the 1st guy who didnt even want to check if there was a package there, Im guessing KNOWING mail wasnt delivered yesterday!

If I could, Id give this 0 stars. Seriously, the bad customer service is one thing, but even the mail carriers are rude and torment dogs. I work from home, have a mail slot that I put a note on not to use and put a mailbox directly in from of the door. For years one carrier loves how my dog would aggressively pull the mail through the slot so hed put the mail through the a lot one piece at a time. When I asked him to stop he gave me an attitude and continued it. I complained to this office and they shrugged me off. Then eventually we got a new mail carrier and he also ignored the sign but at least put it all through at once. Finally, someone was using our box took vacation and the sub carrier put the mail through the slot, I politely asked him to use the mailbox and he said "this isnt my route, so whatever" my dog has clinically treated anxiety and the mail carrier shouldnt be a trigger if we have purposely put a mailbox out to avoid the trauma.

Absolutely terrible. The manager Rick is an absolute JERK! I moved out of state and there were inconsistencies in my forwarded email. I called regarding a package that had been missing and he immediately said, "Landlord must have stolen it." Umm, how do you assume someone (so specifically) stole a package when all you can verify is the accuracy of delivery? Believe me, I am not a fan of my landord, but to automatically blame him as to avoid any responsibility is so wrong. Rick, the manager is so condescending and extremely rude..this is a perfect example of why people do not want to deal with the USPS and rather pay more at UPS, Fed Ex or DHL to ensure proper delivery and why they are in crisis, they are completely incompetent.

Avoid this Post Office at all cost!!! This place needs to be shutdown. This place is currently run by people who believes they are never in the wrong because they have been doing this for 20+ years... This post office(including last mile delivery) has lost so many of my packages, I have to go out of the way to have make sure the packages are delivered by UPS or FEDEX only; which is strange because these two carriers have yet to lose a package. I have submitted a complaint to this office time after time but all i get is a call from the driver claiming he delivered it, case closed...

This is by far the worst post office if I had an opinion I will give them no stars. Amy an employee at the post office is rude and nasty. This facility has barely no parking for a customer which parking is taken up by their employees. They have a empty lot in the back thats empty all day but dont park in the back or even enter because they will yell, and threaten you by towing your vehicle.

This is the absolute worst post office in the state. Terrible customer service, and terrible associates. Just DO YOUR JOB, scan the package and enter numbers into the computer, whats so hard about that? I will now drive out of my way to visit the next nearest post office, where I am treated with respect and kindness, unlike the Woodridge, NJ location.

Wouldnt tape shut a box that I purchased there. They said I could take the package home, tape it shut, and bring it back. Oh yeah, and we sell packing tape that you can buy. Of course it is 3x more expensive than anywhere else. Ive never been to a post office where they wont tape shut a box or reinforce one.

Mail delivery has been awful. I renewed my drivers license by mail and confirmed with the DMV that it was sent out nearly two months ago. I never received it. Same happened with a paycheck in the spring. There was even one week when we went a few days in a row with no mail whatsoever.

The worst. Misdelivered package all the time and the post office people are not helpful and gets irritated when you inquire.
