I have for the past year now pay for a P.O. Box which ALL of my mail that is addressed to me or to my home address should be forwarded to. Most of the time this happens as I pay $92.00 per year for this box. I have it because of THEFT!!! For the past year ...you would think that the workers in the post office above would KNOW whos mail should not be delivered to their homes but forwarded to their post office boxes ..... I must say that most of the time I get my mail...but when my mailman is out ...........I get mail STUFFED into A CLOSED UP MAIL BOX - ! OK I GUESS I MUST TAKE THE BOX OFF THE HOUSE??!! Most of the time my delivery happens..although slowly -- it too over 10 DAYS to get mail from Montclair !!!! THIS JOB IS NOT THAT HARD!!!!! But again today ....I have IMPORTANT mail delivered to my home instead of the paid for post office Box. DISGUSTED WITH OUR WORK CIVIL SERVANTS AND WORK ETHICS - AND THEY WONDER WHY WE DONT SEND MAIL ......AND USE THE COMPUTER.... BUT GUYS!!! I PAID EXTRA TO HAVE MY MAIL IN A POST OFFICE BOX....THAT $92.00 IS PAYING SOMEONE SOMETHING!!!!!

I hate to see a post office, and the Civil servants, who work for the U.S. government, trashed because the U.S. Postal Service closes the Post Offices on holidays, and other days. People are not LAZY when they work according to the rules of their employment. When the Fair Lawn P.O. is closed -- EVERY SINGLE POST OFFICE IN THE USA IS ALSO CLOSED!!!! At Abbot Street, they have an automatic mailing station, where you can by-pass lines, and tap your postal requests onto a screen, get your postage, and mail your letter or package. Often, a postal worker is in the area, to help people use this service. I have, occasionally, had mis-deliveries of parcels or letters. Nobody, not even postal carriers, is perfect. These situations are handled helpfully. If you are unhappy that your box is stuffed, when you open it, get a bigger box!

Just downright rude worker at the desk. Went in and asked a simple question for a customs form. The response I received was completely uncalled for. Fist, i was told i didnt need to wait on line because i had a pre paid package. I explained I had a question. I was asked, "Does this look like kinkos?" Second, i asked for a customs form to ship overseas. Response, smugly was, "Well, do you have a computer?" Yes I do, "well then print it out." Ok, but Im here can I just have the form. Response, "Do you have a computer, print it out." Great customer service...if you hate your job that much quit...

Send small package today ( June, 27 2017) .Whats happened with nice people who work in this office couple of month ago. Today it was the most unpleasant experience!! If this people just really does not like there job or they just does not like people(customers!!)

I went there, got my package shipped and everything was fine. All these reviews about not being open on Christmas Day are ridiculous. Postal workers have lives too ya know!

Terrible customer service. The older gentleman that works had bad attitude and seem like he didnt want to help. I expected better serviceespecially in Fairlawn.

The people are the best! I only live with my son in Fairlawn about half the year. USPS and the VA in DC always get me my necessities❣️
