1. Pros: Academically, its the best local school. 1.1 I got its name from our public primary school: LT gives best students. LT teaches writing in 3-yr-old class, so my son started writing ABC just before his 3rd birthday. By the time hes 3.5, he was writing valentines cards to 20+ classmates all by himself. They have homework for this young age, and my son mastered cutting skill before 3.5: was able to cut any shape accurately from a magazine. 1.2 I love LTs extra-curricular activities. They have karate, keyboard (for 5+), dancing, soccer, fun bus, science, etc. And computer classes are free for everybody 3 and up. 2. Cons: They dont have enough resource to build a caring environment. Ok. They have an intense curriculum, but without a better teacher:student ratio. The result: Often there is only one teacher leading the activity for 20+ 3-yr-olds. No stand-by teachers. The other teacher is usually busy preparing materials, having no time to take an over-tired child from a circle time for a rest, or feed a hungry child an extra snack away from others. Without solving those underlying issues, young kids often act out. And the teachers simply put them to time-out, or ask them to stop. After just a few weeks at LT, my son started repeatedly yelling at his little sis "Can you stop XXX?". I talked to the director, asking for an extra snack when my son acts out. She honestly told me that this is not practical in LT. When my son was tired and wanted a down time instead of circle time, he got pulled out from his seat. If that should result in acting out by an over-tired child, hed get time-out. At the end of the day, the teacher often complained about my sons listening skills, and shed make him say "Yes Maam" to her before he leaves. But later I often found that hes got a damp pants (being soaked in urine for a whole day), or hes so thirsty that hed finish an 8-ounce cup then calm down. Hes been soaked in urine for so many days that hes got rash allover his legs for several months. I addressed those issues to his teacher and asked for a better care, but she said my son should improve his skill to express his needs. For the whole year, my son kept saying he doesnt like going to LT. Every morning, hed try to escape as soon as he sees his teacher. This year, in his 4-yr-old class, he had hair loss in half-an-inch area on his head, and a bruise on the back. I brought him to the director, who interviewed every teacher but no one was able to tell what happened. Looking at my stressed son whos been having nightmare for a week, I just dont feel safe to put him in LT any more. So, if your child is on the mature side, and you worry more about the academics, LT is a perfect place. If your child is a late maturer like my son, then Id choose a slow-pace environment where there are teachers just sitting by the kids when they play blocks.

Choosing a day care is a very difficult choice to make for you child. We moved from Brooklyn 2 1/2 years ago and my son Daniel was attending a day care that I absolutely loved, so my standards for a day care were very high. We looked at a few schools but when we took the tour at Little Treasures my standards were fulfilled and without hesitations we signed Daniel up. He started with only going part time but as he started to spend more time there he wanted to go full time. Daniel has had some great teachers that have helped him with his learning Miss. Janette at cool cats was great to always take time and talk to both me and my husband on a daily basis on Daniel progress and what he needed to work on. We always appreciated the feedbacks from her. Miss. Viviana was Daniels favorite floater in Cool Cats and I love how she till this day always takes her time to talk to Daniel when she sees him. Daniel is now in pre-k in Alligator and we are so happy with the lead teacher Miss.Oneka and the staff Miss.Jackie, Miss.Teresa. They always greet us and Daniel with a great smile and makes us feel welcome. We know Daniel is learning and he is beyond challenged with his education. Daniel loves to bring in what he does at home to show Miss.Oneka "have to show my teacher what I did, she is going to love it". My 2 year old has been with Little Treasures and every class has helped him grow so much. Now he is in Fish with Ms Alex and Ms Yensen as his Assistant teacher. He has learned so much in the short time hes been in this class and they both take such time in making his transition so easy from his other class. We wish he could stay with these two forever since my son is obsessed with Ms. Yensen. It makes me feel great to know that she adores my son as much as he adores her. We know the next class will be just as good in Little Treasures! We just had our 3rd son and we know that when we feel he is ready for Day Care he will be attending Little Treasures. Gives me a sense of peace knowing that he can start at young as 6 weeks and know that he will be in great hands and his big brothers will go and visit him all the time. Little treasures has offered us a great experience with our children. Not only is their stuff wonderful but the school itself is very clean, their playground is great for kids, my kids love it in the summer, having access to the cameras gives us a peace in mind that we can check on our kids. Overall we are very happy with Little Treasures and we highly recommended to anyone that is looking for a Day Care for their little one

Choosing a daycare is one of the most critical decision for any parent and like every other concerned parents we wanted to make sure that our little one doesnt go through the separation anxiety and is given the same level of love and care away from us.We went around to almost every renowned daycare in our neighborhood but just didnt get the feel that we got once we saw the way the teachers were handling the kids in little treasures. The level of trust that we could put in the teachers that were gonna take care of our 18 month old couldnt have got stronger if it were not for Ms Esmeyra, Ms Yensyn and Ms Suzie. They made sure to give him his space to get comfortable and at the same time also tried to get him interested and involved in the activities there. They did their magic and my clingy little one was fine going to day care after his first week when I expected that it would take him minimum a month to get comfortable in the new surrounding.I couldnt thank them enough and then within a few months it was time again for him to move onto a new classroom with new people and my little one still not very stranger friendly felt the same anxiety as the very first day and well the day really went rough on him but Ms Christine was just a call away to resolve the issue we had and was kind enough to do everything to make our son comfortable again and then we met Ms Alex and Ms Marissa and we couldnt be more happier. They made sure that he felt the same comfort and love he did when he was with Ms Esmeyra and Ms Yensyn was there to ease him into the new surrounding. Ms. Alex has been so loving and caring that my son started loving to goto daycare again but after all her hard work we went on a months vacation and coming back to daycare was again a trivial task for my son but Ms Alex again was my saviour and made sure arnav was comfortable and the best part was she called me to assure that my son was happy and playing. That call was such a relief, only a mom would know, she treats all the kids in her class with utmost love and care.I couldnt have asked for a better teacher then her, and again the time came for my sons transition and all the teachers in friendly fish made sure that it was smooth and comfortable for my kid and now hes a happy kid under the care of Ms Devina, Ms Nipa and Ms Trisha and loves going to this classroom and we are pretty sure that hes going to get the same level of love and care that all the teachers of little treasures give the kids .
