I had a great moving experience with Allied - Reliable Van and Storage. The salesman that initially came to my house to give me an estimate was professional and explained the whole process. His estimate was the most realistic out of the other nationwide moving companys estimates. One under estimated by 2,000 lbs, another did not take the time to explain the whole process, and the third was making suggesting to not take some of my furniture. I found all three companies to be very unprofessional. Once I signed with Reliable I was immediately contacted by the relocation coordinator. She made sure that I was satisfied through the whole process. She told me how I could be set up with free boxes and packing materials. I appreciated this offer because boxes can be very expensive. My scheduled packing and loading day happened to be on the day that Sandy was to hit NJ and NY. The driver called me a few days before and offered to come in the day before the storm and do all of the packing and loading so that I could get out of NY before the storm. I absolutely appreciated his recommendation because I didnt want to get stuck in NY during the storm. The driver and his moving team went out of their way to accommodate me and my situation. The driver and his moving team worked as professionals, a well organized team, and very polite. They were excellent from the packing and loading day to the delivery day. They were skilled and hard working. They handled all of my furniture with care and listed to all of my concerns. I was very impressed with them and I appreciate the great job that they did. I appreciate the dedication and service that Reliable Van and Storage gave me. They made the whole process stress free. Thanks!

This is by far the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with in my entire life. We have payed quite an extremely inflated rate for pick up, storage and delivery of our apartment to our new home. Once they showed up to our home by then end of the move 1/2 of our most expensive furniture was missing. Couch,Bed frame, dressers, entertainment center, and the guys delivering were extremely apologetic. Not to mention our bed was covered in completely in dirt. When trying to get someone on the phone they were screening calls and bouncing me from one person to another. I finally got the "owner" Peter Toscano Jr on the phone who was more rude and disrespectful then any of the staff previously spoke too. He would not agree to having the mattress they ruined fixed or to deliver the remainder of the materials that THEY DID NOT BRING THE FIRST TIME till we made full payment. They also will not file a claim for liability for the materials broken during delivery until we made full payment. I was accused of trying to scam them ( by the owner) because I did not want to pay for services that were incomplete. The men who delivered the furniture were let go because they told us that the things that were damaged were a result of improper storage witch they had nothing to do with. I can go on about how rude and unprofessional this company and there owner specifically were, but I will leave it at this STAY FAR AWAY from this company as they are scam artist and shady to say the least. * note one star was given as result of not being able to give less*

I recently moved from New Jersey out-of-state, over 10 hours away. I had short notice of my move, and was clamoring to get a mover lined up before I had to leave. I talked to over half a dozen movers, and Reliable was the only company that got back to me quickly, efficiently, and took the time to make me feel that my business was appreciated and my things would be protected. Many companies I talked to were disorganized just trying to provide me a quote, which made me wonder how my actual move would go with them! George gave me the most accurate quote of any company, even giving me information so I could ask other companies for more accurate quotes. As it turned out, other companies seemed half price only because they were quoting me for half as much stuff as I had! When the crew came to get my things they had no problem going to both my house and my storage unit, and they worked diligently for 6 hours (this is a one bedroom apartment) to make sure everything I had was carefully packed and labeled. The crew arrived two days ahead of schedule, and did a fantastic job helping me put furniture together, unpack, and even hauling away all of my cardboard. Not one of my items had even a scratch on it, and nothing was missing. I was very nervous as I had never used a moving company before and I am very happy I was able to find Reliable and they were able to make it work on such short notice! I will definitely be recommending them to family and friends and using them if I ever move to/from New Jersey again.

Our neighbors used Allied Van Lines for their interstate move and recommended them to us. We followed their recommendation and Reliable Van & Storage as Allieds local partner did not disappoint. The in-home estimate by Diane Stevenson turned out to be spot on. The driver (Spencer) and his crew arrived on time and did an amazing job loading the entire household into the van within a few hours. They handled all items very carefully, used carpet shield and surface mats to protect the floor from any damage and stowed and secured all items perfectly. The truck arrived at the destination on the first day of the delivery spread. The driver called us before arrival and all was unloaded quickly and in good condition. We could not have been more satisfied with the performance. Everybody involved was very professional and courteous. A big "Thank You" to all of them!!! We certainly recommend Reliable Van & Storage / Allied Van Lines to anyone who wants to relocate with peace of mind. Remember - you get what you pay for.

Hands down the best moving company Ive ever dealt with. To start Jonathan in sales gave a very accurate estimate of what i needed to move. Price did not change. Very professional. And Jessica my moving coordinator was extremely helpful on the whole process and was extremely nice and professional. Cant say enough about Jessica. As for the crew they worked fast and efficiently in packing my stuff in NYC. When my belongings arrived in New Hampshire a different crew but equally hard working, professional and courteous. Upon unpacking things - I realized the attention to detail! For instance a parts box with everything labeled e.g., parts for entertainment center etc. Nothing damaged everything showed up. Very good experience with Reliable. Will recommend to all my family and friends. I was a bit stressed about this move but Reliable put me at ease. If you are looking for a moving company... look no further.

What a disaster was this long-distance move! They brought a truck that already had other deliveries on it. And while they accurately estimated my load, it didnt all fit into the truck. The overflow was taken to their storage facility, which appears to be a black hole. Why? Because when another moving company got around to delivering the "overflow" in another week, they did not deliver an antique chair. It has now been three weeks and the chair is still missing. Come on! How can one lose a chair? Also, the overflow document was not properly recorded. Some of my items were NOT documented, though delivered, but the chair THAT WAS DOCUMENTED WAS NOT! Reliable has their money and I dont have one of my grnadmothers chairs. Of course, now the issue is out of their hands and in the hands of an adjuster, although they say theyre searching. HOW CAN THEY LOSE A CHAIR????????????????????????
