This company deserves a review for their exceptional service they provided me. As we all know both good and bad Moving Companies get both positive and negative reviews (which makes it harder to believe and choose a good company). When speaking with my Sales Consultant I informed her of specific needs or any other important concerns and requirements I needed and/or wanted. Moving Of America Consultants are knowledgeable and very informative. They will explain and go over all your questions you need or just want to know and have answers. If its not what you want to hear they will attempt to accommodate you with other solutions to resolve the issue or concern you have. Thought that was great! The truck the crew came with included 3 men of which one is the Foreman and goes over the contract and any paper work a 2nd time around, so another plus for them to take the time and being very thorough. I was there to help out as well as observe how my items were handled, and witness the wrapping and packing of my belongings for myself.. Very impressive, each mover knew exactly what to do and were very regimented. Certainly was curious and observed how this was going to start as well as end. They did not fool around from start to finish. I witnessed a dedicated, hard working experienced crew that was quick and the quality of the wrapping, packing and loading of the truck was done really well, it was certainly an eye opener. Never thought from watching the crew work that I would be so impressed as well as have no complaints. If you are looking for a top of line moving company, I would not hesitate to recommend this company or use them again strictly from my personal experience and not others. I admit I was stressed and had concerns, but I was extremely happy with my final decision to hire them and it all started with the professional Sales Consultant that cared and was patient enough to repeat back to me 2 or 3 times if needed, the information so I completely understood everything to avoid any issues or concerns at pickup. My entire experience with Moving of America has been wonderful! My husband and I feared the move will be very complicated because we were moving from a 4th floor walk-up and had a lot of furniture in a small NYC apt, but from start to finish we were very impressed with the professional and kind service we received! Coordinating the move was a breeze, even though we only coordinated it very last minute and on a desired date. We got very good advice regarding the move, packing tips, quick responses, and the rates were very reasonable - better than all the other offers we got - though even if they were pricier, in retrospect, I would still pay a higher rate just to get the service that we ended up getting. I also think that we ended up saving a lot of money because the movers were so professional (and repacked some of the packages we did a poor job with), provided us extra boxes that we needed, and accommodated all of our special requests. I really cannot say enough about the kindness of Eitan, who coordinated the move and really made us feel like we are VIPs, and about our movers, who were super friendly, helpful and accommodating! We really did nothing during the day of the move. The movers arrived at our apt right on time and worked efficiently and quickly. Every single detail was explained to us, they were very nice and worked very hard without ever stopping until the task was completed. We even got a call from Once we arrived at our new home, again, right on schedule, they put everything in its place and removed all debris upon their departure. During the day we also got a call from head office to check that everything was OK! We were so happy and satisfied with the experience!!! Since our move I have recommended Moving of America to three different friends who needed movers and I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking to reduce the headache and anxiety involved with moving. This is truly a company that knows the job, provide a great customer service and takes this one concern off your list!

Let me start by saying that I was waited three months to write my opinion about them. Our move was a bit complicated since we had to move partial of our items to their storage and some items to my mothers home and the remaining one bedroom set and few more pieces to our rented apartment until our home that we purchased will be ready. Since I was referred to this company and Dolores and Dave from the operations department sounds very knowledgeable and extremely professional and the price sound ok and within our budget, I didnt have to keep searching and reserved the service of which was kind of ease and smooth. However, I wasnt sure about anything else after that but hoped for the best. On the day of the move, Roberto and his 4 guys crew arrived earlier than the scheduled time and spoke to our super making sure all is ok with the insurance and the elevator, exactly as promised by Dave. They worked together well and fast and had all my belongings wrapped and loaded to the truck within about 6 or 7 hours, drove to my mothers home and dropped some items, and drove to their storage. So far I am happy but still not all the furniture are in my new place so had some concerns and again, hoped for the best. Two months past and I am calling again to schedule delivery back to my new home. This time I spoke with Lola, what a sweet lady! Delivery day arrived and this time I meet Joe and his crew. They did what I was expected to see: very good, dedicated, hard workers. All my items were set up in my new home including my grandmother old clock, safely and in mint conditions, again as I mention Roberto since I think due to his team excellent packing. Now, that my move is completely done I can say thank you for an awesome experience!

Movers were nice but I end up paying $370 extra I was supposed to pay $888 I expect to pay more by $100-200 but not $370 and all of this happened because the agent failed to explain to me all details about the storage process before I signed up with them , they offered me a free storage and never told me that timer starts once movers unload my furniture from their warehouse, all they said your timer starts when movers come to your old place loading your stuff and it stops once they are done and starts again when they unload it n the new place. They gave me only three hours and for each half an hour it costs $105 thats too much!!!The loading process went very well but when they came to my new place next day I found out that I had to pay them more hours cause timer started already before they arrived to my new place. Moving is already hard to anyone and time consuming, with Moving of America company I had to go thru a very stressful morning with their agents on the phone for almost one hour and ended up with $60 discount and I had to pay the difference $370 . I wouldnt recommend it to anyone!! ****EDITED REVIEW***** within one business day of posting my review above, Sherren Davies with moving of America called me apologizing for what happened and offered me to refund $102. I appreciate their trying to fix this mistake and caring for their customers reviews. Thank you Sherren I appreciate your effort to solve this problem. I would change one star i gave to this company to 4 stars because of their speed fixing the problem and caring for their customers! Thank you again.
