I dont normally write these things, but my wife insisted. We just moved from Brooklyn to our new house in Staten Island. It was a huge move. We lived in Brooklyn for over 15 years and you can imagine the amount of stuff we accumulated over the years. Plus we have two teenage daughters. Need I say more? I called Verrrazano on a recommendation from my brother-in-law. They had moved him last year. Thank God for this company. As stressful as this move has been, this company really did an A-plus job and made things go as smooth as possible. Scott, the owner, gave me a really fair price. Charged me a flate rate. He said he did that to assure that I wouldnt incur any excess fees. The move took 6 guys, 2 full trucks, and 15 hours! I never thought we would never finish and I was scared to death that I would be charged extra. But they kept their promise. No extra fees or charges. The guys who did the move were kind and professional. They worked like crazy all day. Barely even wanted to take a break to eat. I was really impressed with what they did for me and my family. There was a guy named Will there who just kept reassuring me and telling me that he was going to take all the stress out of this day for me. Well, obviously, there was no way he was going to be able to do that. But just hearing it and knowing that he was doing everything in his power to make the day go as smoothly as possible - I really appreciated that. And so did my wife. Which is why Im writing this review. Verrrazano is a great company. I would definitely recommend them. The owner is fair and their movers are really hard working. Thanks for making the move go as well as it did.

I moved and lived to tell about it! Unbelievable! Like most people, I dreaded moving. I was kind of going through a big life change and I HAD to get out of my apartment within the next month. You can imagine how stressed out I was. Well, my friend at work told me to call Verrazano Movers because they helped her move out in short notice. I called and they sent someone out to give me a free estimate that very same night. The guy was nice, polite, and he really knew his stuff. He gave me a very reasonable estimate and due to my time crunch, I just decided to go for it. I dont regret my decision for a second. They came with 3 guys and a huge truck. I had already packed most of my stuff, but I got really overwhelmed when it came to all my furniture. I didnt realize exactly how much stuff I had. I started freaking out! The guy in charge was really comforting and told me that he was there to make my day as stress-less as possible. I really needed to hear that. And he did his job. Everyone worked incredibly hard. I couldnt believe how quickly they got everything loaded onto the truck. When we got to my new apartment, I had to run just to keep up with them. Im really thankful for the guys at Verrazano Movers. They did a great job! They were kind and comforting, and most importantly, they were efficient. Plus I didnt have to spend a million dollars to move. I hope I dont have to move again anytime soon, but if I do, I would definitely use this company again. And I would highly recommend Verrazano Movers to anyone whos looking to move. Thanks guys!

I adore this company! Ive been meaning to write this review for a while but I never got around to it. My apologies because I had a great experience with these guys. They moved my mom out of her nursing home. I was really stressed out about it, but the team they sent to do our move was so lovely. They worked so hard. Non-stop! I guess maybe my mom had a little more stuff than they originally expected, but the foreman Will promised me that we wouldnt go over time. I was really worried that I might have to pay more. And I really was on a strict budget. But these guys did just what they said they would. They worked their butts off and got everything done in the original estimated time. No extra charge! I was so relieved. I just wanted to take the time to share what a great job this company did - and in particular, thank the group of guys who did the move. They were really nice to my mom and definitely helped me get through a difficult day with the least amount of stress as possible. Thanks Will - and thank you Verrazano!

Good company. They kept their promise. Gave me a flat rate and I wasnt charged a cent more. They even finished within the time frame that the guy told me during the estimate, We had a little trouble toward the end. A couple of the guys broke a glass door on on my china. I expected a big hassle to get it fixed. I just knew they were going to say it wasnt their fault and take no responsibility. But to my surprise, thats not how it went at all. They instantly apologized and took full responsibility. They helped me file a claim and told me not to worry. That they would take care of everything and get the glass replaced as soon as possible. And thats what happened. The glass got fixed and returned to me the next week. Hand delivered by the moving guys. They were very gracious and extremely professional. I even got a call from the owner Scott to apologize for any inconvenience and to make sure I was completely satisfied with their service. Like I said before - GOOD COMPANY! Would recommend them.

I spoke to Carmine and booked the move two weeks in advance. He was knowledgeable and patiently answered all of my questions. He called to confirm two days before the move. I was apprehensive because in the past my residence and belongings were banged around by companies that did not live up to their word. On the specified date three gentlemen (Will, Gino, and Rob) arrived as scheduled. They were extremely capable, courteous and treated my furniture and belongings as if they were their own. My wife and I were moving into a new house. The men were careful not to damage it in any way. I very much appreciated that. My parents who, were helping out, were also quite impressed at the level of competence and professionalism exhibited. I can honestly say that the move couldnt have gone better. I hired this moving company to move me on April 29, 2016, and one of the crew members stole my belonging (a bag). I contacted the company about it, and they only offer to pay me $0.65 cent per pound for the bag. Just be mindful that the company have thieves working for them. If you choose to use them, please close all boxes. Furthermore, they took a long time to complete the job costing me $1400 just for a two bed room move. They were dissatisfied that management was asking about their where about. Also, they started to argue in front of me when management stop their time claiming that they are not working for free and leave my apartment without completely unpacking some of the furniture. For example, one mover was tried to carry a mattress by himself which cause him to put it down in the dirt. This is bad experience.
