I hired Slattery for a move to the Bronx from Nyack. I loved that they gave a flat rate price and the sales and office people were super-responsive with questions I had as the move-day approached - Id never hired a moving company before, so there were all sorts of things I didnt know. When moving day came, the guys showed up on-time, were informed, and when an issue came up, the operations manager was right on it and we came up with a solution that made everyone happy. The furniture and boxes was packed and handled very carefully and the crew had a real attention to the details of each item. My Nyack apartment had some tight corners and I remember how hard it was to navigate on the move in - but I didnt hear a peep about it on my move out! These guys are ninjas. The movers were experienced, respectful, sweet and communicative. They knew their job and were also super-efficient. I was so happy with the result - it made my moving day go from potentially super-stressful to relatively stress-free! Some folks on here say theyre a little spendy, but I didnt feel that way. It was worth every penny to feel I could trust my day with a company and have such a smooth experience. THANK YOU!!!

Amazing company- need a mover? Run, dont walk to hire this place. CUstomer service dedicated to your needs, available to work out your issues on weekends even when office is closed. A rare work ethic these days. Plus movers themselves were absolute joy to work with- we did major move to 2 separate locations in one day, stress free! Guys even helped take unneeded/leftover furniture back to our home (we were moving a family member) and adroitly put into a PODS storage container with efficiency. AND they were willing to do all this last minute- after 2 other MAJOR companies passed, feeling job was too small (one day move was originally 2 days, but on Slatterys advice, we did one full day and so glad we did. Moving is never easy, but Slattery made it a breeze. Thank you, will sing your praises to any/all will listen- you have earned it as well as my familys trust and future business (sorry, though, no rush to move at present!). Oh, I think Slattery also offers storage...and the movers to move it there.

It was such a great experience in such a high-stress situation and the guys really knew what they were doing. They wrapped all of our furniture up carefully and expertly and carried even the biggest pieces through the smallest of corridors without a single scratch or nick. Not only did they take apart and put together all of the pieces, they had no problem giving expert advice on what would be the best orientation for some pieces. The guys could have just put it down somewhere and left but instead they went above and beyond. They were very punctual and got the job done in the exact time they had said it would take. Overall, it was a great experience and we will be recommending them to friends and family.

I moved from a 4BR house to a small townhouse. Despite weeks of preparation, I was hardly ready when the crew of five guys arrived at 8:30 on move day. The crew clearly was used to such a scenario and efficiently helped me finish up packing while loading the truck. The crew hustled despite the heat and maintained great spirit throughout. Everything was moved care and without damage. On the delivery end, they were very good about getting things where I wanted them. I am a happy customer!

Slattery Moving is the most professional and kind company that we have ever used to move us. We have made two epic moves in 20 years from our homes and have used them to also move our offices over the past two decades and every time is has been PERFECTION. Great team of dedicated ppl.. I recently moved from NYC to upstate and choose "Slattery Moving" to take care of my moving needs... These guys were fantastic, they didnt give up during some of the challenges while moving and placing my stuff at my desired place. They were on schedule and super fast but very careful while covering, wrapping and loading/unloading my stuff.
