I have moved several times the last few years but was now in a new state and didnt know where to turn when I needed to move. I went to Home Advisor site and Premier was recommended. When I called I spoke with Tom he calmed my fears and was a great salesman. Unfortunately that is where the good experience ended. The day of the move after 2 hours from the promised time they still had not shown up so I called Tom, he said he would call me back and never did. The movers showed up 3.5 hours late, one mover eating ice cream and still had to wait for the general laborers they hire off Craigs list with no moving experience. I had to go behind them and clean the walls they marked up. They charged hidden fees, and were careless with my belongings. They used blankets that were torn and lots of holes. When I said I was nervous about my furniture covered like this going to a different state they gave an excuse that the owner wont pay for new blankets. Upon delivery, my fears were confirmed as my furniture was damaged where the wood was exposed through the holes in the blankets. The driver was dirty and rude. One worker showed up and he kept apologizing and encouraged me to take the pictures as even he was uncomfortable viewing all the damages. After 2 hours of no additional help showing up WE had to start moving the items, Other than the final heavy lifting we did the work as the additional help showed up almost 3 hours late and the driver argued with the laborers. I immediately sent pictures and requested the insurance paperwork. Four days later I still have not had a return call. When I called yesterday at 4:30pm the phone just rang and rang. Unfortunately this site will not let you post pictures or I would post the several pictures I have of damage. I will be contacting Home advisors and all other sites with my review. If I get resolution for the damages and missing items I will post it. Until then understand that what they quote is NOT what you will pay and with hidden fees for tape etc. My bill was $900 more than quoted. One excuse oh your furniture is bigger than we thought??? It is a standard bedroom set. BEWARE and avoid PREMIER MOVERS!

If I put zero stars I would. Beware of this company. This was the worst experience I had to deal with and I wasnt even the one moving. My mother hired them to move her from New Jersey to upstate New York. She saw an advertisement for free boxes with long distance rides (nowhere does it say what long distance constitutes as). She calls a day before her move (I was standing next to her) and asks for them to bring a few more boxes the next day when they come to move everything. Nothing was mentioned about being charged. If I had known theyd charge her $400 for a few boxes, I would have went to home depot myself to get it for her. Then they did not even finish the job. They left half of her stuff at the house and didnt even complete the full amount of time she paid for. Lastly, the movers claimed they didnt have change for her $100 and would pay her back later. Obviously they did not! I had to call them about 4 times a day and they would just fight and yell at me that they are right and I am wrong and that they dont owe anything. After days of fighting with the owner and manager (both are just downright rude and obnoxious), they tell me all they will give me is $100 back. I am still waiting for the $100 after a week and a half. These guys will rip you off and cheat you. They are HORRIBLE. DO NOT WORK WITH THEM EVER. I would honestly file a lawsuit but the idea of having to talk to them again makes me uncomfortable.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY - They are thieves and crooks!! I would give this company 0 stars if I could. I was quoted for a job and I understand that it was just a quote, but when the quote is doubled on moving day it is nothing more than a scam. Tom seemed very nice on the phone giving a quote, but the minute I called him about an issue on moving day he wanted nothing to do with me and told me to call back and connect with customer service. That was his way of letting the people (if there even are any) at customer service not to answer the phone. The 3 movers moved so slow to add time on to the job and we rude and threatening. They came up with crazy calculations and wanted their money upfront before even unloading the truck. When we did not want to pay the crazy enormous amount, they started yelling and threatening us that they were going to drive away and lock the truck. At this point we had no option but to pay them. Again I called customer service about 25 times in a row with no answer. Finally, I got Tom back on the phone who wanted to hand the problem off to Reuben, and again there was no answer from Reuben. The drivers left without even leaving a bill or itemized receipt. Again just another way for them to demand more cash from people when they have no option but to pay. Please do not go through the headache I did. Do not use these people at all. They are scam artists.

I Moved with Premier A while back(i think around 2009) so recently I had to move again. This time it was not going to be a local move but a long distance moving ...across country move -- to california! I called Ruben @ Premier Movers , i was so happy to find that he was still with the company and even happier to find out that Premier does long distance moves. He coached me through the process. He explained everything in detailed and put my mind at ease. On move day , he called me to make sure I was happy with everything. Then again a day later to tell me that the job was loaded onto their trailer and he gave me a window for delivery. Their driver Dave delivery after 7 days and I couldnt be any happier. Thanks Guys!! I love cali so I hope I dont have to move back but if I do, I would be calling Premier Movers of Wyckoff.

premium couldnt be more misleading. rental trucks, unskilled personnel no matting or protective equipment. after charging me a premium to provide protective wrappingof my furniture, which was plastic wrap, they proceeded to rip or tear that off just about every piece of furniture. they are careless at best and damaged almost every piece of furniture moved. its a great scam their working, they caused probably a couple of thousand of dollars in damage. the insurance settlement they offered ($186) didnt even cover the premium charges. they could have thrown my furniture out of the truck(or maybe they did based on the condition) and made money! they are horrible! if possible i wouldnt have given them the 1 star. dont use them.

Although the process of getting my quote was good, the actual move was a disaster. There were 2 locations for the stuff to go, I was very clear furniture mmb eed to be loaded 1st and if everything didnt fit in PODS it would go on a separate truck for storage. I paid extra money to have a grandfather clock boxed up along with TVs and a Large heavy mirror. Find out after the fact Clock, Mirrors, TVs along with various other furniture went to storage and on top of that they unboxed the clock. Now I have to hire another truck and expert to move clock and other furniture. When I called to discuss the issue I did not get a call back. DONT USE THEM!!!
