I rented a truck and wound up keeping it a day extra. I then paid the ~$340 total using a $300 gift card that was purchased for me. And a credit card for the remainder. My debit card was charged $286.86 TWICE... AS WELL AS 259.85. this is over $700.00 that has been removed from my checking account without my permission, and without my signature. On top of that, I paid for the rental with the gift cert AND THEN I was charged AGAIN for the rental on my debit card. What kind of fraud are you trying to pull? I have alerted my bank to the possible fraud as well as the AG for illegal billing practices. You have injured me by taking actual MONEY out of my checking account, this is not a CREDIT CARD and I told them that. I asked specifically "what will be charged" and I was told "nothing, its a hold until you pay for the rental". Rental was returned and paid for Wednesday. I want my money refunded Monday morning or I will seek legal action for the obvious illegal billing. If any of my scheduled payments bounce because of the delay in refunding my money, I will simply take Uhaul to small claims and waste some of your time and money and see how you like it. I will never, ever, EVER think of using uhaul, or recommending you. I waited over an hour in the location for them to tell me "just wait, it will come off"... its over $700 assholes! its not a $20 walmart return!!!!!! If there is anything I can do to further make your lives a living hell, I will do so. learn to conduct business and stop raping your clients. Penske all the way!

I have called on a Friday to see if they had a truck available for sat and they guy told me that yes they do. I was going to pick it up sat morning at 9am but he said no you have to come in by 8pm or after 230pm sat. I said my girlfriend will be there at 530 to pick up the truck. Well, when she arrived they told her the truck had to be back by the morning and that it was going back out at 11am. She called me, i got him on the phone and read off my order number, and told him that i was reserved for the truck and that was that. He got off the phone with me and than got her the truck. So we moved and had the truck back by 4pm, and because she was a female they took advantage of her and charged her anther day rental, so what should have been a nice easy move turned into a nightmare for her. she paid $30.00 more plus gas at 35 and 2 day rental of 59.00. we will never and if you are a female please syay away from these con artists. 29.99 a day means just that its a day which is 24 hrs not their time hrs

I reserved a truck a week before I planned to move. The night before I got a text message saying that my reservation was completely different from what I requested. I called the 800 number and they told me to call the place where I wanted my pick up. Well at 11pm they were closed! So I rushed in early the next day and was told they had a truck, thankfully. When I made the reservation, I told them I intended to pay in cash. They gave me the amount I would owe and that would be it. When I handed over the money, I was told I had to give them an additional $100! I didnt have the money and the bank was closed still! I had to change all my plans because this company messed everything up. The man who works there was very nice and polite, but was forced to turn me away because of this company policy.

Called to reserve a truck 2 weeks in advance. The day we were supposed to pick it up they said they "might" have one available, then gave us 3 different pick up times during the conversation, then checked the schedule and determined they would not have one available the day we needed it.

We went there with the idea that we had a truck already reserved to only find out we couldnt take the truck because it had cosmetic damage and we had to downsize to a van causing us to be delayed in our moving by 3 hours. Ive had better service in the Bronx.

We reserved a trailer a couple days prior and upon arrival it was gone. They gave it to someone else who showed up and asked for it. We then had to drive 25 miles to the next place that had the right trailer.

As a repeat customer I dont feel the staff is geared to my needs. I do a lot of trailer work and if there was a larger selection of businesses like uhaul I think I would be doing business elsewhere..
