Summary: MAKE SURE THE CUSTOMER BEFORE DROPS OFF THE VAN ON TIME and stand by your policies!! I scheduled a pick-up for a van at 11:15am on Saturday and the customer before was 45 MINUTES LATE. UHAUL promises if you do not receive your rental on time, you get a $50 credit. I had to rush and get the truck back to the facility, because the drop off time was the same. After I asked who I contact to get this $50 credit, I was told to contact 1-800-GO-UHAUL. So I called the hotline (by samantha) and was informed they couldnt give me the credit and I had to file a complaint to get the manager at the store to approve it and apply to my account. The manager called me back and said "technically this doesnt qualify, but youll get XX credit towards your recent purchase." As a result, the rating went from poor to below average. The employees are friendly, but they dont stand by the company policy of giving a customer a $50 credit for not receiving their rental on time. This is unacceptable and the fact that I have to go in circles to receive something that is GUARANTEED, is ridiculous. I will take my business elsewhere.

I was confirmed to pick up a 9 van at 9 am at East Brunswick U-Haul on Rt 18. At 8:15 am the pick up day, a woman called me that the van will not be ready to pick up until 6 pm. She said unless I willing to return the van to East Brunswick U-Haul instead one way rental, and pay extra $54, there will be no van available at 9 am. I told her the apartment will not let us move in after 6 pm. She became very rude, and said "it is a very busy time" and hung up the phone. Just wondering how can the East Brunswick U-Haul not honor a confirmed one way rental, and demanding extra money.

I had an extremely awkward case and was in need of a uhaul out of state literally at the time the first phone call was made to uhaul. Fred was by far the most understanding, helpful compassionate man I have ever met! When I thought all hope was lost, Fred spent his valuable time assisting me over the phone as well as on location. Thank you Fred for your understanding and all of your help in making this happen. I can not thank you enough.

I was rented a truck from a different location and was told something that was absolutely not the way it should have when I got to this location I had pop up charges but the guy at the counter Fred Khalaf was amazing he listen to me and understood the situation and he waved the fees I would rent from this guys location all the time

I made a reservation almost 3.5 weeks in advance for a truck and they call me the day before my move to tell me they dont have a truck for me... they say i can drive much further to a location to get the truck that i reserved from them and hang up. Literally the worst excuse for a business i have ever come across.

The people who waited on me were friendly and efficient. The equipment was ready and waiting for me when I got there. I was in and out in no time. The equipment was in excellent condition and helped me get the job done. I would definitely use them again and recommend them without reservation.

Absolutely ridiculous company! Changes my pick up location 4 times a day, confirmed, then changed again... after been on hold for 25 min 3 times a day, I canceled reservation! Insane!!
