I am not someone that ever writes reviews but when it comes to Asher and AAA auto repair I felt it was necessary for me to write this!! We were recommended to come here by a friend and since then we will never go anywhere else! A good mechanic is very hard to come by but Asher is one of the nicest people you will ever meet! If you are looking for an honest, reliable and trustworthy mechanic then you have found the right place!! He has been nothing but helpful since we have met him and has always gone out of his way for us to ensure the best service possible! He takes the time to explain the problems and keeps in touch with you about what is going on and always ensures that the job will get done that same day! He has never let us down and we know we can always count on him!! He has even gone as far as picking me up and/or giving me a ride home to and from his shop! He has also given me his car for the day while my car was getting repaired. I dont know many mechanics that would do this but he is the best! We have never had any problems with him and he has always done a great job and taken very good care of our cars over the years! He truly cares about all his customers and we always know that we will be in good hands when we bring our car in to him! Thank you Asher!!!!!

AAA Auto repair has never let me down. Asher is an EXCELLENT mechanic who knows what hes doing. At AAA Auto I have always been treated with respect and have never felt pressured to do any repairs that I didnt want to. Other Auto shops constantly try to get me to do unnecessary repairs in order to drive the price up. This is not the case at AAA auto, Asher never talks down to me and he always explains and even shows me the problems with my car as well as how urgently they need to be addressed. This is great because when money is tight it is good to know that you have an honest mechanic on your side opposed to some of the other shops that just want to gouge their customers. My car has a lot of miles on it and Asher is great about helping me decide which repairs are more important than others and which ones can wait a few months so I can save up the money and spread out the costs of repairs over time. I dont even live in Freehold anymore but I still get my repairs at AAA Auto because its worth the drive just to know that I will not be taken advantage of. I highly recommend going to see Asher first because thats where you will end up anyway once you hear his prices and see the dedication he has to make sure his customers are satisfied.

Nice guy but like all (ok maybe 99%) of auto mechanics, he has your blank check. Expect to have your cars axles and ball joints replaced on top of what you come here for! I went to him based on the high reviews. I was there for wheel alignment but he had the cars ball joint replaced instead and recommended axle replacement to be done next, before wheel alignment. This time I went back with another car for a simple oil change. Again, he said both axles boots are broken and showed them to me. I had the car pass PA inspection just 2 weeks ago!! How did the PA repair shop miss such repair opportunity? How can both axle boots break within 2 weeks?! Sorry, I am upset and would not recommend.

Getting your car repair by any mechanic is always a harrowing experience until now. I was so happy and relieved to find Asher! From the minute we spoke on the phone he went out of his way to help me get my car back on the road as soon as possible. He even lent me his car to get to work while he worked on my car! He showed me exactly what he was going to do and found an additional safety issue that had to be dealt with immediately and explained the other things that could wait. He discussed the quotes and pricing up front and along the way so nothing was a surprise. Best of all, my car runs and sounds great now! He will be "our guy" from now on. Thank you Asher :)

Dealt with the head mechanic Ashir, I brought my car in after getting a high quote from a local mechanic; Ashir put it on the lift and we checked it out together, he pointed everything out, and told me in detail what was going on, and what was priority for me to fix. I told him my budget, and we worked out a price for the work on my 03 G35. We scheduled the day, and he took care of all the work in one day as promised and within my budget. Overall, I am happy with the experience. It has been a month since the repairs, and so far so good. Ashir is always by the phone, and was able to speak to me multiple times, before, during, and after repair. I trust him.

Really great customer service! I;m a girl and know almost nothing about cars, but i could tell this guy was an honest mechanic. He told me up front what he thought the problem was and how much it would cost. And I was surprised at how affordable it was. I went to a previous guy for the same thing and it was almost double the price and they gave me some bullshit story that added a lot more expense and headache than I was willing to deal with. Im really glad I found this mechanic. It was pleasant to deal with him and Im happy with his work. I highly recommend him for whatever you need done to your car.

I am relieved to say that I now know a good mechanic in the Freehold/Monmouth County area. My check engine light was on and my inspection was due so I took the car to Pep Boys. They gave me this bloated quote that turned out to be more than the car was worth. On a tip from a friend, I took my car to AA Auto Repair, making it very clear that I only wanted the repairs neccessary to pass inspection. AA Auto listened, and delivered. Didnt try to sell me on things I didnt need, AND the quote was half the price of Pep Boys. Thank You AA Auto Repair!!

Treated like family! My mom’s tire sensor came on and the dealer wanted $125 just to check it! So she took it to AAA Auto repair instead. I spoke to Asher who said she needed calipers but he couldn’t do the work until the next day. Instead of having her come back he provided my mom a ride home because he didn’t want her driving a car that was unsafe! She’s taken her car back for other service and Asher offered to take her shopping because she was going to be without her car over a weekend! Unbelievably friendly service from a top notch mechanic!

Completely satisfied with repairs and price at AAA. Other shops were going to charge me an arm and a leg for repairs on my van. The owner was straight forward and gave me a good price. He also was not pushy, and explained all the repairs that needed to be done. It is very difficult to find a good mechanic in the area that you can trust that is not just looking to make a quick buck. These people are great and look to build a relationship more than a one time repair. He will always be my first call when I need a repair done on one of my vehicles.
