Rec Center Main Office

Beginning Saturday, December 17 through Monday, January 16, the REC Center will be operating on winter break hours as follows: Saturdays 8 AM - 5 PM; Pool 8 AM - noon Sundays 9 AM - 5 PM; Pool 9 AM - 1 PM Mondays - Fridays 6 AM - 9 PM; Pool 6-9:30 AM, 11:30 AM - 2 PM, 5- 8:30 PM 12/24 & 12/25 CLOSED 12/31 & 1/1 CLOSED Monday, January 16 1 PM - midnight; Pool 5-9 PM

Chanakya Bavishi

Spacious facility with swimming pool, large track, three basketball courts and four racquetball courts. Also all kinds of machines, free weights, and kettlebells (although it could use some better quality kettlebells). Downside is that this gym is often very crowded considering its student population.

Management is extremely condescending and rude, equipment is poorly maintained, and its the facility is small relative to the student body. Dont expect to make any results here.

I workout and cheer there for Rowans cheer team almost everyday. This place has a good weight area, two pools, a track, ratchet ball, and basketball courts.
