An absolute nightmare from the beginning. Disorganized on their end. Condescending tones, especially from Eileen Grabowski. Movers dispatched to pack us were okay I guess, seemed fine. They shuttled our load to a warehouse where another company had to come pick it up and drive it across the country. I will probably never know how or at what point all my furniture was damaged, but it arrived with chips, tears, scratches, dents ect. Many of my items did not even arrive in the packaging they left my old home in...? Why are they unpacking my belongings and furniture? I watched in horror as my $3,000 was pulled off the van with no padding or wrapping on it. It was packed originally, and very well I may add. The people that unpacked were shady, speaking of 4/20 coming up and snapping at each other to hurry because they were hungry. One laughed at me when I said oh no, its broken pointing to a chipped foot on our nightstands. When I asked him what was so funny, he continued to laugh and say thats not broke, its just a little chip, not a big deal. I replied it was brand new... We bought it with money given to us as a gift from our wedding, this makes me so sad! and he continued to laugh and say it was stupid to move new furniture. When we bought it, we did not have any clue we would be moving. I felt... robbed. I felt unsafe with the unpacking companies men in my home. I will update my reviww after going through the insurance claims process. I do not have high hopes. I would not recommend this company if you have items you care about. You know the type of person that moves their belongings in the back of a pick up? Those are the types of people you are allowing to move your belongings.

I had a great experience with Holman. I contacted Greg to inquire about a move out of NYC. He was fast and efficient in providing a quote. I had movers to pack and load my apartment within a week. I was given a pretty long window for delivery, but was pleasantly surprised when Dana informed me it would arrive within a week. The team who unloaded was fast, respectful of both our home and belongings, and hilarious. We enjoyed working with them. A smooth and easy process for what could have been a huge headache to coordinate on my own.

From the moment I emailed them to set up a home visit for getting a quote till they delivered our car and household goods, every agent did his/her job in a professional way and with care and respect. They responsive, answering emails very quickly even on weekends. We moved from NYC to bay area and the entire process from packing to delivery took less than 10days.

Terrific initial meeting with sales rep. Had firm quote in 20 minutes in detailed PDF file. Packing team arrived early; worked non stop; and left the apartment, the hallway and elevator without a blemish. My superintendent commented that he had never seen a moving company as professional as Armstrong.

Holman is the ONLY moving company I refer my clients to when they need a mover ! After numerous terrific experiences with them - from the accurate estimate with Greg, through the delivery with their top notch moving crew, these guys are NOT your typical moving company ! Highly recommended !

I am overjoyed with my move. I have heard about nightmares associated with moving so I was nervous but from start to finish I had no problems. I have several items which were extremely sentimental to me and their were treated by the movers like it was equally sentimental to them.
