Worst company ever!!!! Dont believe those fake 5 star ratings that are clearly written by them. They are rude, unprofessional, dishonest, and they are scam artists. The dispatch Stephanie is the rudest person I have ever had to deal with at a company and she will scream and swear at you when she or the company was in the wrong. Just like all the other reviews you will read they low ball the price to get you to choose them and then when they show up they say it is going to cost way more because you didnt give them the right information even if you give them dimensions, lists, and pictures of your items. In my case the quote became double. Then they take advantage of the situation by saying well if you dont want the new quote you can move half your stuff because they know they have you trapped as its the last day of your lease and you have to move. They told me 5 days to deliver. 4 times people at the company breeched the contract by telling me early delivery dates and I didnt even receive my stuff until a month later. The delivery was from NJ to FL. Everytime I called in they had zero regard for their mistakes or true information to give. They would yell and try to intimidate me, tell me there is nothing I can do about it, and that I could not speak with the owner. If you have had to suffer from this company legal action is always an option. There is more then enough review data online to support your claims and log or record every conversation with them.

This is my real experience with these people and the person who handled was Damieke. First of all they are no way related to movers they are just an agent who direct us to the intial pickup people and then it gets transit to actual movers. The way they speak initally before getting the advance and the way they speak after getting will be different. Likewise the response too. I told them clearly I am going ahead with cubic feet and havent listed out all the items that I have to move. Even I had the email for that. But when the pick up people came they charged 700$ extra I said then I no need your business but they threatened that I cant get the advance amount back and came down to 500$ extra. So I agreed finally however they havent picked up all the items they said they left lot of items which I thrown away. All together it was a mess moving with these people. Whenever I ask any details even for the bill or lost item while moving they keep directing to different people and its very tough to reach those people and you will get fed up and leave it. I am just posting this so that you dont fell in the well where I felt.

The up front cost is not what you will end up paying. You will be charged a subjective heavy lift fee for couches, tables, and bed frames which is $100 apiece. Extra packing costs will accrue for lamps and any other item that the movers deem needs to be re-wrapped. And when these items arrive broken your calls will be ignored and you will be transferred to a 3rd party insurance company that will value your lost or broken items based on your receipts (thats if you have them all). Beacon subcontracts with questionable moving companies and blame is passed around and eventually your calls will be ignored. Do yourself a favor and rent a pod and hire people from a labor force group or have friends help and at least you will know the cost as well as see your stuff again. I am still waiting to hear from Beacon management on an entire missing box, table and two snowboards that snuck off.

Do not use this company. They are horrible. The people who run it and work there are rude, incompetent, and do not stick to their word. When we first talked to them, they gave us a reasonable quote. But when the movers arrived they priced us at more than triple what was quoted and refused to stick with the original price. They showed us an inventory list of our stuff that we supposedly approved but we never saw until then. The next day we called the company to tell them what had happened. They said it was their fault and that we would be refunded the deposit. Its been months and we havent gotten any of the money back. Weve called many times and they refuse to pick up as if they were screening our calls. We have left countless messages and they never call back. Do not use this company. They are liars, crooks, and con artists. They are the definition of corrupt.

WORST MOVING AND STORAGE. I wouldnt even give one star. I made sure to buy insurance, which still doesnt even help because they only offer you 60 cents per pound or so. They completely scratched up and then after that shattered my nice marble side table on the floor in half. They completely ruined my dresser and took off the entire corner of a white West Elm dresser and now the entire bottom corner is showing all the wood. THEN ASKED FOR TIP!!!!! Then I took the time to contact the company and send in my ruined furniture claims..... They said they would only offer me $60.... Its been 6 months.. STILL NEVER EVEN GOT THAT! Now my $1000 dresser is ruined. and my $300 side table is completely shattered. Still got no insurance money. WORST company. Ruined all my furniture.

I havent used this company and yet Ive never been more disgusted with how its ran. Some how my number was give to several companies regarding a move... Im not moving, nor had I asked for quotes from anyone. However its been weeks and this company always seems to contact me when I am at work, so I hadnt had the chance to answer and tell them their services would not be necessary. I received a call and text this morning from this company so i briefly text them back letting them know they didnt need to contact me any further because I hadnt signed up for this service. I received such a rude and unprofessional message. I am honestly so disgusted someone would allow their business to be ran like this. I attached a picture of the messages exchanged. Horrible company.

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY - THEY ARE SCAMMERS! We hired Beacon Moving for our move from IL to AZ and they outsourced to Swift Moving Systems. The arrived 5 hours late for our move and when they were all done packing, they handed us a bill for double the price we negotiated with Beacon. Since they were so late, Beacon was already closed for us to find anyone to help. They charged for all kinds of services that were supposed to be included in our contract with Beacon. They never alerted us during our move that there were extras and how much they would be. They were rude and condescending and basically are blackmailing us because they have our furniture and we wont pay the doubled bill. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!

I recently moved from NYC to Miami. I found Beacon Moving and Storage online. Since they have office locations in NYC and Florida I decided to go with them. I called them and asked for an estimate. The price was decent and they offered me 1 month free storage so it worked out perfectly fine since my apartment in Miami wasnt ready. After month & half I called they and they dropped my remaining stuff immediately. They were professional and much reasonable in compare to other movers. All my furniture was professionally packed so didnt have any scratch. Very happy with their service! I surely recommend to all my friends in NYC.
