I got quotes from several different places. I went with Your Hometown Mover for two reasons: 1. The price was right 2. (and honestly, more important to me) Jake was very nice when I spoke with him. He had no problem with my need to actually stop at two locations. Also the guys that I worked with were AWESOME! They were very friendly. They also worked hard to keep me within my budget. Customer service is the most important part of business. I made a few changes to what I wanted moved while they were loading the van. No attitude, they just did it with a smile. Id absolutely recommend Your Hometown Mover above any other moving company. This was the best moving experience Ive ever had.

I contracted with Hometown Movers to move a large crate from a loading dock to my house. The company was informed of the size of the crate, and agreed to move it. There was quite a bit of coordination required, which we got through, eventually. The pickup had to be rescheduled due to crew nonavailability. They showed up a bit late on the rescheduled date, with three people and inadequate equipment to complete the job. After half an hour of discussing things with the owner, they decided that they could not handle it, charged me for several hours of work and left.

Do not like these people! When you try and leave an honest review of your bad experience they harass you and threaten you! They were horrible and the sales guy will say anything to get you to hire them. Once you hire them prices change. They literally insulted my mother because she tried to leave a honest review of our experience.

Just had a move. 1 bedroom apt. Very professional and nice guts. The truck was loaded in an hour. Went to new location and unloaded it in same time. No damage. Id use them again and would recommend. Thank you
