Where to begin. What a Rip off. So I had to move cross country and this company can back with the best price per cubic feet. In addition, I decided to get the "on-site estimate". The estimator came to the house when we had everything packed in the garage. It was actually already packed for a few weeks and in our garage. We told him only this stuff right here. The estimator notice we had about 8 bags full of clothes that we were going to bring in the car with us when we drove. He said that it wouldnt cost that much to ship, it only looks about 40 cubic feet but we need to put it all in boxes. He said he will add the an extra 40 cubic feet for the clothes, if we still decide to drive with them then we will have a little extra room in the truck. So the estimator wrote down the inventory said he will do us favor and over estimate the cubic feet so we arent charged extra, then added an extra 40 feet on to the estimate total. On the day of pick up, the pick up driver looks around and says there is no way the estimator saw these clothes and to ship them would be an additional $600. Which makes absolutely no sense because it was 6 boxes, each was 8 cubic feet and they charge $4 per cubic foot which would total 192. He also said that they NEVER add additional cubic feet and basically that I have nothing but my word that says he added it on. He also was now picking things up like a few painting and the bigger baby toys and said that they all need to be in boxes or he isnt taking them, even though they are on the inventory. He kept saying that I must have added stuff to it after. He then says "the inventory says 32 medium boxes so thats all I am taking" Now of these 32 medium boxes, 6 of them were less than a cubic foot (a box of greeting cards, a box of small trinkets etc.) I thought I was paying per cubic feet? Each medium box is supposed to be 6 cubic feet. So why am I now getting charged per item? After many hours of arguing, we finally agree to take the clothes ourselves in our car. Mind you now we are still being charged for the extra 40 cubic feet that we arent utilizing. There were 4 other people from my husbands company that was moving to texas as well. ALL 4 of them had a on-site estimate and the same guy who picked up our stuff picked up theirs. All 4 of them werent there at pick up since they were at work so they werent there to observe what was going on. All for of them were charged hundreds of dollars more than their estimates. I would have given them 1 star but the drop off crew was very pleasant. I have a 9 month old who was napping and they were sure to be very quiet and didnt wake her. That was the only good part about the whole experience. The manager is of no help either btw, he is rude and speaks to you as if you are an invalent. Keeps saying that it wasnt on the list (the clothes), even though the list didnt add up to the cubic feet of the estimate, I even added together the cubic feet of each item on the inventory and it didnt even hit 350, yet we were charged for 420. He keep saying how they never have ANY complaints, then he would say that its always the small jobs that cause problems. So which is it buddy? What a joke that guy is. Honestly we would have cancelled the whole thing be we were so pressed on time by that point, so they took advantage of us. The best part is that a few days later we noticed a few items that we saw them pick up and load on the truck were now back in our garage behind some shelving. These people are a rip off. DO NOT USE.

First, I appreciate the way that Olympus has worked with us. The company, starting with Samantha in sales through every contact I had, has been very professional, very responsive, and a pleasure to work with...which I appreciate very much. The foreman, Adam, who packed and picked up our goods was outstanding. He took great care to ensure that everything was packed well, that each item was handled with the care that you would expect if it was his own furniture. He and his team were professional and courteous in every way. He also explained everything he was doing to keep me informed all throughout the packing and pick-up. And, he even connected me with the supervisor to ensure that we were satisfied in every way. Olympus should be proud to have this team working for them. Finally, the dispatchers worked hard to accommodate our limited schedule for delivery which I know was a bit challenging. Yet, they were very cooperative and did everything they could to make this all work out well. Moving is always stressful. I have used other movers in the past but NEVER had this pleasant of an experience. I will absolutely recommend Olympus Moving.

This company is a disgrace!!! They need to remove the word professional as a description with regard to their service and replace it with POOR!! The receptionist assured my daughter that her things would be delivered in three days which by the way was a lie because in reality it was a six day ordeal. They lied and deceived us as they continued to tell us our delivery was on its way. They picked up the items on June 4th and was then loaded on the movers truck on June 7th!!!!! On 10th we were told the movers were enroute, and they were 40 minutes away and was then told it wouldnt arrive that day but the next. Then the time of delivery on that day kept changing. When they finally arrived we couldnt see our delivery until we paid them...then to top everything off the company they used to get our shipment to us the supervisor/boss threatened to harm my daughter!!!! Now that is a whole other issue...how dare they!!! What kind of crap is that???!!!!! Stay away from this company!!!!!!

Highly recommended moving company! Just had a very successful move with Olympus Moving & Storage a few weeks ago. Would like to thank Lashay for her constant contact throughout the process, his dedication to her customers is a rare find these days. she was extremely informative and broke down everything we needed to know ahead of time. the moving crew all were on time the day of the move and got right to work. What I thought would be a surely 5 hour move was completed in 3 hours! They evened managed to get every item I had in storage on the truck and delivered safe and sounds. Not one broken or damaged item. All the guys were great, very courteous and easy to talk to. The actually moving day is probably one of the most stressful parts of moving but everyone at Olympus Moving & Storage made it seamless. Take my word you wont be disappointed. They definitely go the extra mile to make this process as easy as possible.

I recently hired this company to move 5 blocks away from where I used to live. I hired 4 workers as suppose to the recommended three. They refused to bring my TV, because they say it was too heavy and not properly packed, even thought it was. The company told me they would do the job in 3 hours and they took 6 hours. The service was terrible. The movers supervisor had a very nasty attitude. They overcharged me and demanded a very costly tip at the end. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Please be very cautious selecting a company whose workers are nice, who fulfill their job on time as promised and gives you a flat rate for your moving.
