run away, dont walk. They only cover 1,700 in damages and dont check their boxes for leaks. I rented a Mi-Box onsite storage unit on Sept 22 when I did my renovation. On Dec 18 I had hired movers to move my items out of the unit ( which was located on my driveway). They discovered that my furniture was wet and damaged from mold. After a brief cry, I called the company and my HOI agent. I spoke with Paul Garvey, manager of mi-box, and he came immediately to look at the items. He was responsive for a few days until he realized he had a problem. He mislead me (and my insurance agent who was helping me) and falsely told us he reported to his insurance company and filed a claim. A month later my insurance agent and I still couldnt get a claim number from him. Finally after contacting the corporate company in mid January, we learned he did not file the Claim. A few weeks later in February an adjuster came out and determined the value of my damaged items. 3 1/3 months into the process his insurance company is trying to once again claim no responsibility for the galvanized storage unit having a leak in the middle of its roof. I relied on this huge steel box keeping my items dry and protected from the weather (as advertised). Be very careful in working with this company. I now learned there are more honorable companies to work with.

MI BOX is ALL about Customer Service!! I scheduled 2+months in advance with PODS - two 8x8x16 containers to be delivered on same day in same large driveway. PODS delivered the first one in the morning (on schedule) but complained they could not fit the 2nd one in. After arguing with Driver & Dispatch, i gave in and went the route of loading first POD and do a switch later in the week. after 2 days of back/forth with PODS , they could not get me back into schedule that week! Unbelievable as the 2nd container was not delivered AND was on the schedule to pickup from me on Friday anyway. Peter came through when PODS could not ! He not only got me a container mid-week, his skilled drivers parked this container right where PODS said they could not drop theirs! Sad as MiBox does it with a truck... PODS does it with remote delivery system (easier and much more accurate placement). I now have 1 MiBox and 1 POD in storage due to moving but will never use PODS again.... i will only call Mi Box as he made my move! Thank you Peter ! Never lose your Customer Service as that is what makes you special and superior !!

I would never use them again. They have left their containers on our property for months after telling them they were empty. They also refuse to pro-rate their rental fees to when you are actually using the containers. We needed multiple containers for a home renovation that lasted over six months and gave them a huge amount of business. When it came time to move back in we let them know we would be done only a few days into the next month and was told it would be no problem. When the time came we were charged for the full month and told that they would not be pro-rating or refunding anything. Owner was very rude and the storage containers are still sitting on our property empty without being picked up.

Mibox made our move go incredibly smoothly. My husband and I were very stressed and rushed already because of our time constraints with selling our house and moving into our new home, but they took a lot of the stress out of it for us. We called them up one day informing them that we needed a storage container, and they were able to give us one the very next day. They even waited for us while we packed our items into it, and then they brought it back to their warehouse and stored it for us until we moved into our new home. The customer service was excellent, a great bunch of people that we dealt with. I would certainly recommend their services to anyone who is moving.

This company offers an a+ service and product. They delivered my container extremely quickly and were very accomodating with my changing needs as they were very flexible. I would recommend them to anyone.
