I recently had my hair cut and colored by Justine at Salon Artigiano. Everyone at the salon was pleasant, professional, and stylish! I mention "stylish" because Ive been to too many salons where the hairdressers look like they dont know how to style their own hair, which has made me nervous about letting them touch mine. First impressions are very, very important! Justine LISTENED to me! Again, that usually doesnt happen at hair salons. She understood that my hair is fine and tends to curl, making it difficult to style. I showed her a picture of a style I had several years ago that I liked, and she cut and styled it perfectly. It is not too short, nor too long. I have washed and styled it myself since my appointment and had no problems. I love my cut and color. Justine also colored my hair. I usually get highlights and low lights; it hadnt been done in 6 months. When it was done, it looked very good, but was a little too dark for me. (That was my fault. I didnt tell Justine to use a lighter shade than my natural color hair for the low light.) I am used to being very blonde. I decided to give it a try, but after spending a day with it, I decided I wanted to have Justine add some highlights. I called the salon the next morning, and was treated exceptionally well by Ginny, the owner, and Justine. They were very accommodating; they were able to bring me in the day I called and they treated me kindly. Justine added several more highlights (I was not charged), and I am extremely happy with the result. All of my friends have complimented me on the color and style! I am glad that my friend recommended Salon Artigiano. I highly recommend Justine! She is not just a great stylist--she also is very smart and a great conversationalist! Sitting in a chair for a long period of time can be very boring, but Justine made me laugh, which made the time go by quickly.

I WAS LOOKING FOR A SALON AND ESPECIALLY SOMEONE THAT WAS GOOD WITH COLOR AND CURLY THICK HAIR. SO I HAD MY FAIR SHARE OF BAD CUTS, AND COLORS, SO I GOT REFERRED TO ALYSSA AT SALON ARTIGIANO WHICH IS IN THE DEER PATH PLAZA. I WENT THERE A LITTLE NERVOUS BUT AS I WAS GREETED BY THE RECEPTIONIST, AND ALSO EVERYONE ELSE WHO WAS WAITING, ALYSSA CAME UP, SHE GREETED ME AND TOOK ME BACK TO HER STATION. SHE ACTUALLY MADE ME FEEL VERY COMFORTABLE. SHE ASKED ME ALOT OF QUESTIONS, LIKE WHAT I WANTED TO ACHIEVE FROM THE APPT I HAD FOR THAT DAY, TO HOW SHE WAS GOING TO CUT MY HAIR , ALL THE WAY DOWN TO WHAT MY JOB AND LIFESTYLE WAS, BECAUSE MY MAIN THING WAS "TIME" . AS MY COLOR SAT ON MY HEAD, THEY HAD A NICE COFFEE BAR, AND I RELAXED. THE SALON WAS A VERY HOMEY FEEL, AND ALL THE STYLISTS WERE SO NICE. I WAS NOT THERE FOR HOURS AND I DIDN T FEEL RUSHED, ALSO I LIKED THE FACT THAT ALYSSA TOOK THE TIME TO ANSWER MY QUESTIONS AND SHE DID A GREAT JOB LOVED MY HAIR AND MY COLOR. I REBOOKED AND ALSO FIRST TIME CLIENTS GET 10 %OFF THERE CUTS. ALL THE STYLISTS SEEM GREAT TOO. THANK YOU ALYSSA AND SALON ARTIGIANO!

I went made an appointment in fall 2016 and Jennifer was the stylist that did my hair. She did such and an amazing job. Im very picky with my hair and who I go to for it , but I was very happy with my experience. Jennifer talked to me about what I wanted to do with my hair before I was in the chair, and especially about the color I wanted to dye it since my hair was two toned. She cut my curly hair BEAUTIFULLY. The color I wanted was PERFECT. My hair for a while was not growing properly and after my appointment with Jennifer my hair grew fast. I plan making another appointment soon for a trim and dye. Im so excited.

I honestly debated on writing a review for this place because Im not the kind of person to complain. However, my visit them was the worst I ever had and it had to do with the hair dresser. Her name was Heather and she was just awful. I want to give her the benefit of the doubt because she might have had a bad day. She was extremely rough with me and her face was not welcoming at all despite the fact that everyone else was sweet and kind. My head is still sore from her working it like it was a scratching post. I will not be going back and I warn anyone who is a new comer to not visit with heather.

I had a color and cut done by April. The highlights came out gorgeous and the cut even better. Never have I ever left a salon so happy with the results. April was fixing what my other stylist messed up horribly which was both color and cut. She lets you know right away if she CAN or CANNOT do anything so you wont have a surprise in the end. I trusted in her many yrs of expertise and couldnt be happier with the results. The whole salon atmosphere was also very friendly and relaxing from start to finish. If youre looking for a place to do your hair, I highly recommend this place.

I normally dont write reviews but as I was looking up the salon info to refer a coworker I saw a very shocking review so I wanted to give some input to potential new clients .. Heather is wonderful she has been doing my hair for years and Ive always had a very pleasant experience . She is very passionate about her work and is a true perfectionist. I get tons of compliments on my hair and referred many friends and family who have been equally happy . The salon is beautiful and all the staff are very professional and welcoming.. I highly recommend it.

Salon Artigiano is a very clean and professional salon with very talented stylists! Everyone is very friendly and helpful in terms of guiding you in the right direction to your best cut and color that fits you! Two of their stylists are so great that I personally followed them from their last salon to this one! I would recommend this salon over and over, especially Val and Heather :)
