This was the worst manicure Ive ever paid for. Im a low-key person and have never written a review before, but I felt compelled to share. The young woman who did the manicure (I dont believe she bothered to introduce herself) is not well suited for a customer service job. She didnt ask how I wanted my nails shaped. I asked her to cut them, as they are brittle from too many months of gel, and she said she preferred to file. I got no hand cream at all. I wasnt sure they were dry, as she had me dry them for a very brief time, and she told me "just dont poke them around too much and they should be fine." As I was paying, I realized there was polish all over my cuticles (which look pretty raggedy as she hadnt adequately trimmed them or pushed them back) and she begrudgingly came to the front with remover on a q-tip to try to get it off. However, my nails look very sloppy with the polish on the cuticles, so she couldnt possible make it look like a professionals job. I didnt say much about the manicure, as I needed to get back to my shore company. I even left a tip. The receptionist took $4 off the bill, as she could see I was not happy, which was very kind. BUT I cant recommend this salon for a manicure, as my nails dont look better than if I have done them myself and thats not saying much.

I came here with some of my friends and was immediately turned off by the extremely rude front desk staff. After booking these manis/pedis months in advance, I was told that the services that I requested could not be fulfilled due to time constraints and other clients coming in. The salon was not busy at the time and was not busy for the entirety of the time we were there. I thought about saying something but then soon found out that the woman who was rude to me was in fact the owner of the shop. First impressions are everything, and she left a terrible first impression on my friends and I. They tried to make up for the rudeness while we were receiving our services, however, the final product of the mani/pedi were sub-par and did not meet my expectations of what I thought I was receiving, especially considering I paid $60 for a full set. After paying a total of $210 for services for two women (including the tip), I was told that I would be charged for one of the friends who did not show up due to being sick (an additional $75). Although some of the staff was friendly (Kim) we were overall displeased for our vacation manis/pedis.

Although I have only been a customer here a few months, I have received many services from simple hair cuts, to mani-pedis and waxings. Every time I come, the ladies remember who I am, what I did last time and take their time with what I am there to have done. After reading some of the other comments below, I would like to say a few things. Not once have I felt rushed, had my appointment canceled or rescheduled due to over booking or have dealt with any rudeness from anyone. It is a shame to read reviews from unhappy customers, but do keep in mind how long ago the reviews were left. The ladies at this salon are keen on perfection, timeliness and cleanliness. It is not your average walk-in hair salon. It is an overall beauty salon, inside and out. After coming here I feel relaxed and refreshed. If you are in need of some "me" time, this is the salon for you. I, for one, love this salon and cant believe that I havent come here sooner.

Highly recommend!! Went at the last minute for pedicure and gel nails. Extremely welcoming. Very thorough. Jessica did my nails and I couldnt be happier. She took her time and it shows. Also, I took my elderly mother-in-law with me for a pedicure and John took such good care of her I believe she will go see him every time she comes to Ocean City. He went above and beyond for her. She hadnt been for months and her nails are extremely thick. He didnt watch the clock as many places do. He worked on her nails until his perfectionism allowed him stop. Lastly Shawn who was coloring someones hair stepped over multiple times to check on us. Really I cant say enough about the whole salon. Wonderful!

This salon is absolutely one of the best when it comes to customer service. They are so friendly and polite and they make sure that you are completely satisfied with all services offered. Its located in a great area and the atmosphere is so relaxing. I would definitely recommend this salon to anyone. They are really good at working with the customer to make sure the experience is enjoyable.

While I would highly recommend the massages which were top-notch and relaxing, I found the hospitality and the friendliness of the salon front desk to be lacking. I left the salon thinking that I would not return in the future nor would I recommend them to a friend.

A month ago I sent my girlfriend to A Bella Salon and Spa to get her hair cut and highlighted. Not only does she love it but I love it as well. While there she also got her nails done and scheduled a follow up massage. Overall great experience and a must go.

My aunt and I made a last minute waxing and pedicure appointment at this salon during the off season and they were VERY accommodating! Each staff member was friendly and the music was great! Would recommend and return!

As a "vacationer" I found Bella Salon & Spa to be a wonderful, welcoming spa offering gracious, competent and skilled operators situated in the middle of town. I thoroughly enjoyed my pedicure and manicure!
