Bad experiences. I used to go there because of good oil change coupons that come in the mail or that you can print off their website. Now the complaints: 1st, they regularly skimp on "free services" included in coupons (esp. tire rotations which they never perform unless you call them out on it) / 2nd, an appointment is required and their appointment scheduling is random (I once tried to get an appt. via phone call and had them say they were completely booked for my desired day. 10 mins later, I scheduled an appt. online for the same desired date and time with no issue). / 3rd, they are downright rude (Ive heard them in the presence of people in the waiting room mock other customers on the phone and admit to doing shoddy work) / 4th, they misdiagnosed a problem with my car and they charge very high fees for repairs. In summation, STAY AWAY! There are plenty of other places on Rt. 35 to get your oil changed or to have repairs done to your vehicle.

No Stars!! Went for a price on brakes drove the car in no problem when I left my brakes were scrapping metal to metal. Was told that my brakes were shot front and back and given a 670.00 price.. at best I needed pads when I went there and left using my emergency brake to stop my car!! Horrible unprofessional shop.. Had the repairs done else where paid 189.00 for parts and 140.00 for labor.. Pads and Rotors front and back!! In a business like that with name recognition they shouldnt have to resort to dirty tactics.. would never use or recommend them to anyone.. Shame on you Midas!!

My brakes where making an awful noise, so I went to Midas hoping their ads were truthful. I was acknowledged immediately. I was shown the problem: brake pads, rusted rotors and calipers. I have never been shown or had the problem explained to me before. Dave was polite, sincere and attentive. Excellent customer service! The work was done as promptly as possible, and my car feels better than ever! Fair price, excellent service. Im definetly using them again.

Went in there for a repair for my exhaust. Was quoted $250-350. I asked them to also do an oil change and a tire rotation while the car was up on the lift. The work was done within a few hours and the price, with tax included, came to $310. The car is running beautifully. The service people were all polite and professional. I have absolutely no complaints whatsoever and would recommend this Midas to my friends and family.

Unprofessional service, not even trained how to mount/dismount a tire. Or maybe just dont bother to follow a proper procedure which is even worse and turns their "total care" slogan into "total dont care". Will not disclose warranty terms prior to starting the job unless you specifically ask. Extremely poor service at high price. Rather stay away and go elsewhere.

Best price, service and value in the area. Ive had all my cars serviced here - everything from an oil change to more complex maintenance and have always been extremely satisfied. Staff is professional, honest, and no BS. Hard to find a really good auto shop- this is one of them.

Midas of Hazlet was great!! They replaced my rotor, brake pads and did my old change for a really good price on 04/12/15 on my KIA. Everything was done really quick and efficiently. Best prices in town. Manager was very nice and professional. would recommend!l

This place is ultra expensive. 1 caliper and pads for a car cost $$452.59. Make sure you get a price in writing before these guys touch your car, or better yet, dont go to this place. They also left grease all over my interior after a 3 1/2 hr wait!

Hazlet NJ Midas tried to tell me that synthetic oil was required for my car and quoted $58 for simple oil change. Owner manual states that synthetic oil MAY be used. I did not have car serviced here based on this bate & switch tactic.

Horrible. Spent about $2k on repairs that werent done correctly. Brakes didnt work endangering my life, and worse, the lives of others. Nice people but sadly when going to a mechanic you want a mechanic not a CSR.
