I have been a client of Sahara Salon for over 4 years, I love the Salon, Sahar and its people. Sahar has done wonders with my hair from coloring to amazing cuts. I have never left unhappy, she has taught me how to work with my curls and not against them, recommended products, and has shown me how to style either with curls or straight. I recently just received a Keratin treatment (have had 2 others) that was simply amazing and the best one yet. The very next morning, I was able to put my hair in a ponytail go on my run, in very windy and humid conditions and my hair stayed straight even with sweating. Day 2 while at the beach, I left my hair soaking wet and let it air dry while on the beach, my hair dried pin straight! I have curly frizzy hair when it air dries and especially at the beach in the wind. I was amazed and thrilled with this most recent treatment, I love it and it will make summer so much easier. Saharas Salon is simply the best, from their knowledge, to the latest in hair treatments, they really care and have a passion for what they do!

I went to sahara for the first time to get my hair colored. when i arrive and tell the stylist which color i want she takes half an hour to mix the color .when she finally starts coloring my hair she starts ripping through my curly hair because she forgot to brush it. two hours later she rinses out my hair with a whole two inches of dye left on my skin. she did not blow out my hair because it was extra (which i was expecting) but then tries to convince me that the small section she did blow out is the color i wanted and that i could see the color properly in the salon because of their dark restaurant lighting. the stylist said that when i saw the color in the sun it would be the right color. it wasnt. i try to call back the next day to schedule another appointment to have the color fixed. i called for two and a half hours straight, after the time they were supposed to be open and still never got someone to pick up the phone. THE WORST SALON EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE ILL NEVER GO BACK. EVER.

Simply put and without exaggeration, Sahara Salon is the best in the town. The owner knows what she is doing. I am not one who trusts hair stylists since I ended up with many disasters which they called color, highlight, or hair cut. Sahar (the owner) has not disappointed me once every time I trusted her recommendation and went with it. She is professional and knowledgeable of her products. I have been one of her clients for years. I had the "straightener" service done 7 months ago. I had the "express" service done. It lasted more than six months and still going. My hair looks great...worth every penny. The product she used on my hair for this service is all natural and did not burn my eyes. The only downfall is that the product steams a lot but being that its a natural product, I wasnt concerned. Dont waste your money and time elsewhere, go to Sahara Image. The place is warm and welcoming and the service is outstanding. Thanks Sahara Image. :0)

I just started going to Sahara hair salon. I am new in town and didnt know were to go and I must say I put my trust in the reviews I read and made an appointment for my husband first (who is very picky for a man). He came back very happy with the cut and was happy how fast Amy was too. He happened to wait for maybe 10mins but even with the wait he was done within a half hour if that. I then made an appointment for my hi-lites and color and trim with sahar. Not to bore you with details but love it!!!! I used to spend like 3 hours at my old salon not at Saharas, she foiled me and then put color on my roots with the foils in which chopped the time in half and not to mention it came out perfect. I didnt know what I really wanted she advised me of my options. I highly recommend it to others .

I was in the area for a school event and REALLY needed my hair done. I normally dont take a chance with my hair. It doesnt recover from a bad cut or color quickly and at my age need all the help I can get! I was nervous and desperate but took the plunge. I have a decent amount of fine, wavy hair which years of experience has taught me works better at a medium length with long layers. Usually stylists insist on cutting too much and too short and I fight with it until it grows out. I also highlight only which keeps my hair much healthier. Sahar listened, made suggestions, then went to work in a timely manner. Cut and color looked great then, and 4 months later. Now I drive the hour plus a few times a year, no matter what my schedule!

I would highly recommend the salon, especially Sahar as the stylist to anyone! She does whatever you ask and doesnt push her opinion on you. I like to trim my hair and keep long layers. She does just that without chopping my hair off. SHE LISTENS, which most stylist dont. The salon is absolutely beautiful and the environment is just what I need after a long hard week...it my time to be pampered and come out with beautiful hair. The salon gets 5 stars!!!!

I have been going to Sahara Salon since it opened. Sahar and her staff are all very welcoming, friendly, and accommodating. Ive gotten up dos, coloring, and cuts and have always been extremely satisfied. They are up to date on the latest trends and hairstyles. I asked Sahar if she could give me the ombre look and she did a phenomenal job! I highly recommend Sahara Salon for anyone in the Hillsborough area, so convenient and always a wonderful experience.
