Our daughter had been enrolled in this daycare since 2011. At the time, it was run by a wonderfully competent center director and truly caring teachers. That center director has since left and the center was transitioned to a franchise. The current center director, promoted from a classroom teacher when the center changed to a franchise, is incompetent in daily operations and lies to parents in order to cover her incompetence. When asked to manage an ongoing classroom issue that she had been aware of as the teacher for that classroom, she fabricated stories about children in the class. Eventually, she worked out an acceptable solution and the center franchisee contact us to ensure our satisfaction, even following up in email. That Saturday, he emailed us to arrange a meeting and when we called him, he expelled our daughter! He provided no documentation or details, despite repeated requests, and ignored our communication stating that he had expelled our daughter. When we involved corporate, this center franchisee lied, claiming "confusion." Unfortunately, corporate said they would manage him based on their internal policies. At one time, we recommended many family friends to TLE. The teachers are wonderful but their morale is low: the center director and franchisee do not abide by ratios and often dont provide teacher breaks. The center franchisee has not paid his teachers on time and "forgot" to sign their checks once. He spent his first month of ownership threatening parents with unprompted tuition hikes. Its such a disappointment, but this center is not what it once was. Avoid at all costs.

As recently as a year ago I would have given TLE five stars. With all the recent management and staff turnover, however, the place is on a downward spiral. The teachers have been jumping ship and there have been five center directors in under a year - with the most recent stating that she believes the center should and will close. The worst has been since this location went from corporate owned to a franchisee. The current "owner" is clueless. I dont blame the staff for leaving in droves...I would not stay at a job where I did not get paid on time. They are also constantly out of ratio and being asked to supervise more children than they are legally supposed to. As to the "rumors" brought up in another review, these are not rumors but actual events that transpired at the center. There were several recent issues between children and instead of taking any steps to resolve these issues, the owner decided to simply expell the child whos parents requested a resolution. Tuitions have been increased arbitrarily and when questioned the owner simply responds "so take me to court... Ill win". . Several children were not fed lunch one day and instead of the center director taking accountability, she threw her staff under the bus. These are just a few examples of recent incidents. I have not experienced or heard anything positive since the new owner took over, but I do know he offers discounts for positive reviews on social media. It is extremely sad that a once excellent child care center has deteriorated so rapidly.

I was planning on transferring my 2 yrs old daughter from a TLE in Woodbridge NJ to this location so she can be closer to my job. I had gone in on Friday afternoon at 2 pm during my lunch to get information and to start the registration process. I gave her a check of $125 took all the forms back to work with me. I began to notice the tuition fee was more than what I was paying in Woodbridge NJ. I made calculation and realize I wouldnt be able to complete the registration for my daughter. I called the TLE center in Hillsborough by 5 PM to inform them I would be cancelling the process in which the girl simply answer "ok." The following week on Tuesday I notice the center negotiated the $125 check on Monday. I called the center asking for a refund which they said was up to the Corporation to decide. I called the Corporation which they refuse to even transfer the funds to my daughter TLE center. This place has no comapnsion for a working mom. They tried to cover there ways by saying the woman deposit the check as soon as I stepped out the center. LIES!!!! Keep in mind it was ONLY 3 hours from when I gave the girl my check to when I called to cancel. AVOID this place they just out to make money at any cause.

I have worked at this Learning Experience center for almost six years and still love coming to work everyday. Its great being at a job where coworkers are dedicated and always lending a helping hand. My director and business manager are always available and tend to any problems or concerns I have immediately. Our specific curriculum is monthly themed and contains so many aspects of education to engage early learning at its max. From sign language, Spanish, art, and technology to our fun enrichment classes and extensive phonics program any child and parent will love. The environment is exciting and never can I walk down the hallway without hearing laughing or singing coming from all the classrooms. The children are so happy and can always put a smile on my face no matter what kind of mood I am in. I have watched most of these children grow from when they started at the center as an infant all the way through their kindergarten graduation with us. It is an amazing feeling knowing I helped mold their mind for the future and was a huge part of their learning process from the very beginning.

I went to this daycare to meet with the Director of Child Services. I walked in and met with her she was very knowledgeable and showed me the rooms were my child would be taken care of, showed the curriculum that would be followed, a food item menu, all the enrichment programs offered, etc...I was happy with what I saw. However, I did not get a warm and fuzzy feeling in this place. Now, maybe it was just an off day or maybe it was me, in any case, I was put off. With that, I was surprised to find out that they charge an early drop off fee which is not mentioned anywhere on their website. So, in addition to an expensive tuition paid on a monthly basis they hit you with an early drop off fee. I have to mention, they do offer a discount on tuition, but it depends on where you work and how large your company is. All in all, with the lack of warmth felt and the surprise early drop off fee, it was enough for me to say this is not the right place for my child. It may work for some, not for us.

I have had my son here for a little over 6 months and I am extremely happy here!! I love the cleanliness and friendliness of the staff. The director and assistant director are always available and always happy and greet us with a smile. The teachers are happy and always greet my son when he enters the room. He never wants to leave and tells me how much he loves Make Believe Blvd. There is very low teacher turnover. My son has had the same teacher since he started and thats a little rare in this profession. They always have fun events every week and always get the parents involved. I am very happy leaving my son in the am knowing he is safe and loved throughout the day.
