I have been a client of Aurelio Salon for the past four years. I have been to both locations, Howell and Toms River. The staff is always polite and try to make any accommodations necessary. I love their customer service and they always off a beverage or a snack upon arrival. Manager Melissa always assists me with my beauty needs such as the latest products for styling, or promotions the salon is running like my favorite "Customer Appreciation", where we get to spin wheel and try to win goodies! Just follow on Facebook they always post the latest in events and beauty products! I have thick, voluminous hair. I very rarely trust anyone to cut or color it. Aurelio is always educating their staff so I can trust that I will receive the best cut and color for my hair type. I have NEVER gotten a bad hair cut or had a bad experience. Even weeks after a cut my hair grows in and still looks amazing. I always receive compliments on my hair and refer them to Aurelio Salon. If you dont believe me go there for a trim and the shampoo experience alone will have you going back. I recommend stylist Tim or Emily. Manager Melissa will assist you! Tell her Cameron sent you!

I went to the salon today for a cut and color (expensive). I spoke to the person doing my color and cut and explained that my hair picks up a lot of red when colored. She really didnt seem to listen. I have gray roots and assumed she would take that into consideration when we agreed upon a color. She did the color, and when it was done it was horrible. I had light roots and dark ends, and it was very uneven. And I was shocked at the results because I was paying for a professional colorist. She had to recolor my hair which cannot be good for it, and as a matter of fact it feels horribly dry. Now my roots are still lighter then the ends and the roots are reddish. I paid full price for this mess! No apology at all. It was as if everything was fine. And the haircut was bad also. The person who cut it asked me if I blow dry my hair, and when I said no she proceeded to blow dry it anyway. I think she just wanted to get rid of me. I would appreciate a response from the owner of the salon, I want this mess fixed ASAP.

I have been going to Aurelio salon for years now. Recently I had someone else cut my hair (from somewhere else)because she was at my house trimming my girls hair and she was going to frame my face. She didnt listen to what I wanted done and she wound up cutting off 9 inches of hair from the back and it was a horrible hair cut. Daisy had to fix it. She always listens to what I want, and I will never EVER go anywhere else! I am still miserable about the loss of my hair, but Daisy fixed the shape and now I at least feel like I can go out of the house. She is definitely the best, both for cuts and color. I highly recommend this salon.

First time I went there Mandi did a wonderful job, so I suggested her & the place to everyone. But since then, terrible things have happened! Hair screw ups so bad and expensive to boot----she must be overwhelmed and forgot how to do hair! (Whatever you do, dont ask for color! Your hair will be striped as well as your patience.) But all of this does not compare to the NASTY MANAGER MELISSA. Ugh! You would be better off throwing your money into the road than giving it to this place. At least you wont have to suffer Melissas disrespect, and the horrible hair color and cut. NO LIE!

I picture Aurelio Salon as One of those great Salons You would find in NY and Even Hollywood! They are amazing~ when You come out of their Salon You Feel like You are Ms New Jersey! Accommodation, Relaxation, Massage, Client Appreciation Days...?? Really... Where Do You find That?? Wow- I have lived here all my life and Never in 20 yrs had a Hair Salon just pamper Me! If You happened upon this review: You need to really treat yourself.. they are addicitng! Angel Cher I love those guys!! I am now a good friend and client.

Today was my first time at Aurelio and I was very happy with the entire experience. I received a facial and a haircut and I was very happy with both. Elaine cut my hair and she did such a marvelous job, not only is she talented but shes such a nice woman. I highly recommend her. She was so thorough with my haircut, I saw her use several different techniques in cutting my hair, I was very impressed. I will definitely be going back to Elaine from now on! My Mother is also a customer and absolutely loves the place!

Worst experience . I came in for balayage and after washing my hair turned orange . I came multiple times to fix it. They put a toner which made it dark and didnt fix the issue. Now instead of giving me my refund they say we can no longer serve you. Very unprofessional. I wasnt planning on going back anyway but they clearly took my money and ran. I had my hair done before and never had this type of issue. I have been a client there for years but will not recommend anybody there for color.

From my first visit this Salon was friendly, accomodating to my 5 year old (tv room and play area) and very attentive to what I wanted. It is on the higher end in terms of price but you get what you pay for and I have finally found a salon that is worth it. The shampoo experience alone in their spa atmosphere is worth it! I have to drive about 20 minutes but i am happy to do so. Donna is an excellent stylist and the entire staff is professional and courteous. THANKS AURIELLO!!!

I had a wonderful experience getting a haircut and highlights with Katya yesterday.She was lovely and very professional.I used a group on voucher this time but enjoyed it enough that I would go back again and pay regular price.The reason why I only did stars was because even though I had a appointment I was not assisted until due to the salon being short staffed that day. Also,tip is only accepted as cash but thats typical for salons.

I was quite pleased with my visit to Aurelio. I didnt have to wait long at all without making an appointment. The staff was friendly making my stay pleasant as well. And they did a great job highlighting my hair. Also they cut off exactly how much I asked, other salons I have gone to would either cut too much or not enough. Its not a far drive for me so that works out great too. Thank you very much Aurelio, Ill be back soon!

I just LOVED everything about Aurelio. I have searching for a full service salon for a year- FINALLY found what I was looking for. Lisa is amazing, my haircut is exactly what I wanted and the color is just what I needed- especially this time year. The entire experience from the ladies at the front desk- coffee- shampoo- sanitized brushes-just top notch! Looking fwd to returning and building a lasting relationship!
