The WORST post office ever!!!! My picked up mail is put in a large box in from of my door in a single family home, delivery guy throws my box around 50 feet away from my house. Mail scanned that I DID NOT receive and the say it was scanned that it was delivered and I should have GOT IT!! Remarkably 2 days later the mail gets delivered??? Meanwhile John says if I did not get it and they say it was scanned that I should call the Police?? Thats his response ?? Not a nice guy! So its a crap-shoot scanning means nothing when they say it was delivered on say Friday and you get it on Tuesday. Which happened at least 2-3 times already...and spoke to JOHN and he gave me the same answer. The scanning does not work if you have a dishonest post office. JOHN IS A LIAR AND VERY RUDE AND NASTY ...All I want is my mail !!! Picked up and delivered like it normally should be. No one should have to deal with this grief for your mail! Many other problems but too long to write. Howell post office needs an employee overhaul and lessons in good manners and customer relations. I cannot believe all this hassle for my mail.IT COSTS NOTHING TO BE NICE, I GUESS THEY CANNOT AFFORD NOTHING. Even with all my problems I would not write a review like this , and I think this is my first review ever. JOHN is what provoked me by his ATTITUDE.

Called asking about a rental that I placed and shipped..I incorrectly put the wrong book in the box to return and ship and man that picked up was EXTREMELY RUDE. He did not know how to speak to customers what so ever. He said things like "how am I supposed to know who your mother spoke to?... How am I supposed to know where it was shipped out to? Let me get this straight, there is nothing I can do to help you" and then hung up the phone on me. A respectful worker would have been helpful and tried to work with me. I called back and told him how disrespectful he is and that I will be in contact with his boss.

Horrible customer service. These guys make up there own rules and should be fired for it. They do not follow usps policy at all. I went to open a po box and they insisted i do it online when by usps policy that is not my only option. All usps services have applications to fill out and open up p.o boxes with 2 ids. Usps should really review this howell location cause they just lost me to ups. The customer service was horrible and the guy started yelling at me.

They are the worse. You call and it takes 10 minutes for the phone to be answered. Packages are never delivered when they are suppose to be delivered. When you call to complain they claim they dont have pkg yet even though you have tracking it to their location. When you tell them this they tell you you are wrong. They have hung up on me several times. You need all new personnel at that location starting with Post Master

John is absolutely terrible, extremely rude and nasty to customers!! Just got off the phone trying to explain how I have no mailbox as a person hit it and could I put my mail on hold. He said well if their is no mailbox they wont deliver it. I said if you would let me finish and stop being so rude Im trying to put my mail on hold for pick up on Monday.

AWFUL - laziest bunch of people, zero service, zero initiative. They wont even try to accommodate a new business with daily pickups - we have (had) to schlep MULTIPLE packages a day. Needless to say we no longer use this location - a disgrace to the postal service!

Gotta love BUSINESS CLOSED when its a residence. Gotta love NO ATTEMPTED DELIVERY RECIEPT. GOTTA LOVE THAT THIS KEEPS HAPPENING!!!! The grim reaper is more reliable than this office. I wish i could collect government money and lie about doing my job.

UGH, Howell usps Horrible, Horrible!!!! I tracked my package, you said it was delivered.. LIE LIE LIE tomorrow is a holiday, WHERE IS MY PACKAGE? Everyone in this post office should be FIRED.... Start with crabby ass John!!!!!!

Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. As with any post office and cutbacks try to avoid peak times or the wait can be longer if not using self service machines.

Does not pick up my packages when requested, and does not scan picked up packages for days which makes them late.
