HORRIBLE!! HORRIBLE!! service always. Never even once you get treated with respect. They dont even care to respond to your hello (They are toooo busy doing nothing) I run a small scale business from home and have on an average 8-10 priority packages every day plus multiple first class mail. My 2 year old daughter was sick and I was behind the schedule for shipping the orders. So, one day I went to the post office with 26 packages (19 priority and 7 first class/parcel), waited in line for 30 minutes and when my number came VERNA tells very rudely that she cannot give me the receipt for the packages as they are too many. When I told her that I have spent almost over $240 for these priority labels and I do not feel comfortable walking away without the receipt. She tells me again very rudely that packages more than 5 at a time will not be scanned right away... SERIOUSLY!!!! in which USPS book it says this that you cannot have a receipt for something you paid and when I told her I will not go without the receipts. She looks at me with a funny face and than points at the customer behind me in line. Highly unprofessional, no doubts they are having issue with keeping USPS going. If, this is how you behave with customers who have business... One day small businesses are the one which will grow! RESPECT EVERYONE!!

Ive been living here for over 10 years and every time I come to this post office the clerks have been extremely rude to me instead of trying to help me. Todays clerk that was extremely nasty was Verna. She told me I needed to better secure my box I was returning with tape even though it was unopened from when it was sent to me. Told me they didnt supply tape and told me I could purchase it from the wall. I understood the policy, so I had no choice but to pay $5 for a roll of tape that I later only used 2 pieces from and brought it back to her along with a 79 cent mailing label. Then she took the tape away from me, looked me dead in the face and sternly told me to "go away." And shooed me away with her hand. And I told her very nicely, but you just told me I needed to tape the box and you took the tape away from me...I need to tape my box.. So she had an attitude with me and told me to go away and fill out the label. I didnt deserve to be treated in this manner. I did absolutely nothing wrong and I was very nice and patient with her. Im tired of dealing with these nasty clerks every time I come here. Something needs to be done. Everyone else on line even gave a look, like whats her problem..? If she cant handle this type of job then she doesnt deserve to have it.

THIEFS!!!!!! I have lived in Monroe for 5 years now, and with this last year being the worst ever! I have had packages stolen from me when they are marked delivered and never wind up in my mail box.....the smaller packages from QVC, which are typically jewelry, have been cut right open and the box taken right out of the package!....there is a thief or more than one thief stealing my mail and it is always the very costly jewelry that I purchase. I had to contact the seller and request my packages be sent ONLY by UPS or Fedex. This is a federal offense and I intend to take it to the police, as after speaking to the post master he was unable to stop this from happening!

This is the most disrespectful place that i have ever had the disadvantage of dealing with. The delivery people are amazing and sweet but everyone in the office thinks they are gods gift to the world. Their carrier supervisor/manager are the least bit helpful, show attitude and act like the task of doing something is just the most horrible thing that could have happened to them. Every time i need my mail sent out i drive to the next town over where people are nice and friendly and say hello for a change. It never hurts to be a nicer person.

Mostly the staff is courteous and efficient. I have one problem. My mail is being forwarded to Florida while I am staying with friend. For a week ,or more, I will get no mail and then I will get several letters with varying forwarding dates on the yellow forwarding label. Obviously,my mail is being bulked. As a result of this and the fact that it takes ten for mail ten days for mail to fly from New Jersey to Florida, means that I frequently get overdue notices. Today is Election Day and I have yet to receive my Absentee Ballot.

I had a pick up a package today and witnessed how pleasant and patient the staff was with difficult customers. One wanted single but there was none in the box but post-woman was helpful and pleasant despite insistence for non-existent singles and customer was happy. Then another livid customer could not understand why his overnight package could not be delivered to his home since he had his mail delivery on hold!!! She was so patient and even tried to help by asking when he would like his mail delivery not to be held anymore

During my visit on Saturday (early afternoon) I found the service to be much improved from what I used to endure at this location. The agent who took care of us (Mai) was quick and efficient plus she maintained a pleasant friendly attitude throughout our lengthy and slightly complex transactions. She even took the time to offer, unsolicited, a few tips and suggestions for future mailings that will make the process easier. Great improvement in customer service.

Like many have stated you are better off going to another post office further away as the Monroe Postal workers are like snails. Today I called the Monroe post office asking why cant the mail carrier ring the door bell when he drops off a package. He placed the package directly under the door bell and cannot push that button. UPS and Fedex ring the bell every single time. The USPS guy cannot make that extra effort and now the package is soaked.

This is the second time Ive had problems with this post office. My mom sent me a priority insured letter which took 3 weeks to arrive from Puerto Rico. It should take no more than 4days. I just mailed her a flat rate package and instead of it going south, it went to Sioux Falls South Dakota.Customer service is so nonchalance about it, they said..It happens, went on the wrong truck. They is no such thing as pride or concern in the USPS.

The service from the Monroe Township Post Office is a disaster. You pray to get mail when it comes. To depend on the mail on a normal day, when the weather is sunny and clear, is to think the worst of the worst, and you might be surprised. On 1/27/14 they did not deliver, and who knows if they will today. The Post Office needs to conduct an operations audit of the service it gives the residents of Monroe Township, N.J.

I have to hand it to these brave workers. For the amount of volume they get on a daily basis, its a wonder how they cope with us. Monroe is a Meca for retired people. AND if you ever dealt with only one retired - Im in hurry going nowhere - person, just imagine how it is dealing with over 100 a day 5 days a week. I only have praise and admiration for these brave souls. Keep up the great service........
