HOURS LISTED ONLINE ARE INCORRECT!!... AND THEY DONT CARE!! I have a P.O. box in Ventnor City (which isnt cheap) and I drove there one Friday afternoon (through summer traffic and all) and arrived just before 5:30 pm but it was CLOSED!! Apparently the box access is only until 5 pm. I called Atlantic City office (which supervises Ventnor City), they were unapologetic and I had to practically beg the lady there to even mention something to her post master. They just dont care. Ive never received good customer service...ever! Most postal workers Ive ever dealt with (city to city) are very nonchalant and couldnt care less about our troubles, they pass the buck on every single issue. If I didnt ACTUALLY NEED my P. O. Box, I would have told them to stick it years ago. But Ill be damned if I dont complain. In New Jersey WE DEMAND quality customer service. We need to stick together on that point.

they dont answer because the lady claims she works alone and cant handle picking up a phone and sitting at the front desk all by her self. or so the employ told me and my family when I went in to complain about them not picking the phone up and me not driving so we had to walk all the way there from the 2nd to last street in ventnor next to margate after waiting 2 hours for the 505 to never go to the plaza.(why doesnt that ever happen when I dont need to go to the plaza) and then confronted the lady working the counter just to be told shes understaffed and only had 2 people at the post office . its not hard to tell people in line to hold on just a minute to answer the phone. but then again, HIRE HER SOME HELP!!!!!! if you guys arent paying her what shes worth shes not going to do all this extra work for nothing. so I dont blame her in a sense, but its definitely an inconvenience

The Ventnor Post Office located in Ventnor Plaza needs to get more, competent, help, or they need to close it down. I frequently drive to the Northfield Post Office instead of going to this one, and the Ventnor Post Office is about a minute from my house, because a half hour drive and a two minute, easy transaction is much better than a two minute drive and a - minimum - half hour nightmare. USPS all the way, but Im trying to run a business here guys.
