This is the only carrier in the neighborhood that gives us MANY issues. We receive a lot of packages in the mail, but the USPS here in the heights are unbelievable at times. Some the workers who run the routes do not follow procedures. They dont knock on the door or ring the bell (especially on Sunday). They cant even wait 90 seconds for you to respond. How do I know this? Lets see here... we have over 20 packages a month and we would know when a person is at the door via knock/Ring. They fill out the notice paper "sorry we missed you" leave it on the wall and run away. No knock, No ring, just fill and run... Again we have 3 different, sometimes 4 deliveries, in one day, USPS is the only one that does this. Why? I have no idea and thats not our problem, I am a customer and their duties are not being fulfilled. Jeez, then when you go and try to pick up the package the workers give the biggest attitude at times! Unbelievable, you mean to tell me: 1. I pay my taxes (so does the neighborhood to keep this place alive and workers paid) 2. I pay the shipping costs (money that goes to USPS) And then when you walk in, the workers give you this attitude like "Oh I gotta do you a favor?" "Its your fault that you didnt see the notice!" So we pay first and this is what we get as customers!? Shame on you USPS with the negative attitude! People have to miss work etc. to waste time to deal with this nonsense! Please remind your employees to fulfil thier duties with honor and integrity! This causes a huge issue for all of us! Now that thats out of the way, on a positive note its not all the workers of USPS and this location. There are employees who do fulfill their routes (our route) correctly each and every time. So again its not all of the workers. If you have a experienced something like this dont be ashamed to post to get matters fixed, it helps your fellow community members. ** Update 12/8: Happened again. So at 7:45a I was home. Check for my package at 11am. Guess what, says I missed the attempt on the tracking... Again no ring. Walk to the door to check if the notice was left. No notice. Went to this post office to try to locate our package, guess what, The USPS has NO CLUE on where the package is and what truck its on. "Come back at 4" they say... Smh Asked for a supervisor and the USPS employee was already writing the number down before I could finish my sentence. Gave me 2 numbers to call about the issue. Both ring out with no way to leave a voicemail. Now I have to get back home no package and have to wait till tomorrow to attempt to pick up a PACKAGE I PAID FOR. have to go to work in between this. Such an inconvenience. 3 visits in 2 weeks. I will update this review accordingly.

I wish I could give it 0 stars. Always, Always, Always late opening....And I mean 30 minutes late. Then close on the Sec of closing time. I have asked them several time to not leave packages on the street entrance to my building and have, they still do it and since I have gotten 2 packages stolen, this is pure lazy lazy lazy lazy. The delivery person, want to fight and say that our mail slots where broken, as they where not...Ive lived in my place for 2 years, they are not and have never been. Beside the fact, the packet was way too big to be placed in the tiny mail slot. Now I was told there was going to be an investigation, no word. The entire lot of these people should be fired and rehired by people who will at least try. Get it together. All of you.

I was hoping that by choosing the USPS over FEDEX or UPS, I was ensuring that my entire delivery process would be an absolute nightmare... SUCCESS! This postal team made sure that every single step of the way was a god-awful experience. Not only were the representatives rude and condescending, they seemed to have absolutely no ambition as human beings! From the moment I pressed order, I just knew I was gonna have a bad time. Apparently, my doorbell is hard to find, despite the fact that theres 3 giant doorbells in the vestibule to my home. I was right upstairs, and theyd never even know it! Silly postman. I could have walked to California and got my package myself, it would have been less taxing on my mind, body, and soul. Thank you.

Absolutely one of the worst Post Office in the U.S ! This post office exhibits all the clichés and jokes about the U.S postal system. I opened a P.O Box more than 10 years now because my mail was stolen from my home mailbox. Two days ago I opened my P.O Box to get a note that my mail was being returned for non-payment of yearly renewal fees that I had paid in last April. Since then I have joined the long lines twice only to be told that the person that handles P.O Boxes is not there and no one except him can resolve my problem. I will join the line again tomorrow and hopefully find out why they closed my P.O Box without any notice. Meanwhile my mail is being returned.

These is the worst post office ever, they claim they delivered my package while I was there all the time at my home and they never did, I call them to inform and they had nothing to say or explain their mailman always delivering to wrong address they stay on the ear phone listening to music or talking not paying attention, I dont know who supervisor check them they might b the same way, please stay away from these post office they very rude on the phone and would put you on hold for ever wish the big boss start doing some clean ni in that office

I was calling and calling and calling 714-6222 and no one answered !!! Voice mail picks up & says THIS PERSON DOES NOT SUBSCRIBE TO THIS SERVICE.,........ W H A T ????? No way to leavee a messgae but you can keep my freaking package for 51 hours and DO NOTHING BUT COLLECT A FREAKING $$200 a month paycheck !!??? WHYYYYYY ISNT THERE A WAY TO GET A HOLD OF ANYONE TO AK WHY MY PACKAGE IS STILLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL SITTING THERE !????? MY GOD !! And I pay plenty of your salary and you cant answer to me ???? Z E R O STARS !!!

Once again, terrible customer service. Told me they couldnt, "stay on the phone," and give me directions to, "...redeliver my package because they had a station to run." Incredibly rude. No wonder they have such a low rating. Not the first time Ive had trouble with USPS... especially within the Jersey City Area. Cant UPS, FedEx, or some other more qualified delivery-service company just take over the entire industry since the government cant properly train associates or run a delivery service? lol.

I had an issue with a delayed package which didnt arrive due to show, yet my tracking info showed a delivery attempt was made yet I received no notice in the mailbox. I walked down there and the help I received was outstanding. Thorough and cordial is all I can say about the ladies there, especially Liz! Amazing! I also just moved up to NJ and she walked me through how I need to fill out the mail forwarding form! Took all the time in the world! Outstanding! Thank you and keep it up!
