I recently used American Home Remodeling for a new roof. I was told when I signed the contract that American Home Remodeling will contract-out, which I was told they use the same guys all the time. Dan from American Home Remodeling said he would come out to my house when the work is being done. I was giving a quote for up to five boards but they only came with one board to my house. American Home Remodeling gave the job to do my roof to a company called Scale Renovations (company from Queens). The guys that came here for my roof was just putting roof shingles on and not replacing any boards. Once I noticed they were not doing the job right. I was told they were only hired to put the shingles on and no replacement. When I called Dan from American Home Remolding he called the guy he hired and they replaced only one board due to only having one board at the location. The crew used did not clean up well at all. I spent my whole day picking up nails. I was told it would be a one day job and that the company hired by American Home Remodeling would bring extra staff. Scale Renovations came with only four guys. After speaking to an employee of Scale Renovations I was told they do roofs but they mostly do interior work in houses. At this time the job was completed and I am hoping I dont have any problems in the future. Dan from American Home Remodeling was really nice to us, I live in Westchester and I cant recommend them to any friends.

USE THIS COMPANY!! LOOK NO FURTHER! First off I want to say the whole process was seamless and easy, which is a breath of fresh air from my past contracting experiences. John my sales rep was on time, professional, knowledgable, honest, and respectful of my tight budget. From our initial impression with John we knew he cared about our needs and wants but also suggested ideas to accommodate our layout for our kitchen better. We ended up contracting AHR to complete our kitchen, siding, and roof replacement. Our initial meeting my husband and I already gave John the job to work with us because we felt so comfortable with him. For a project that can take several weeks it was important to us that we hired someone who we can talk to easily and John was that person for us. Any slight issues that arose during the work, John quickly rectified it with his on site foreman. It really amazed my husband and I how on the ball John was with his clients. His was ALWAYS available via phone or email. I cant say enough good things about John and this company. Save your time and have these guys visit you house , you with NOT be disappointed. Thank you John and American Home Remodeling for making my kitchen, siding, and roof everything I could have asked for and more. We will be using this company again for other projects.

The entire process went very smooth. Pricing was very competitive, especially for quality of materials and size of job. There was no pressure at any time to hire them. John was exceptional to deal with, from our initial meeting and his presentation, his help with acquiring financing, and throughout the entire job, he was always available to answer questions and get problems solved. My main concern was that we were having an outdoor renovation project going on at the same time as the siding job, to the point that the siding crew had to plan to come back and finish once the other outdoor job was completed. From past experience, having a contractor leave a job unfinished and hope that they come back to finish is a nightmare. Not at all with John and American Home Remodeling. We kept in touch every step of the way and once it was clear for the siding crew to come back and finish, they were there in less than a week. Ronaldo and the crew were very professional, knowledgeable and CLEAN. They pointed out some issues they may encounter prior to starting and we addressed them and agreed on solutions that helped complete the job. Would absolutely hire American Home Remodeling again for future jobs.

American Home Remodeling did an amazing job! We had the original cedar shakes and clapboard completely stripped from our homes exterior. AHR then had blown-in insulation installed, new Alside Cape Cod vinyl siding installed, replaced the surface of back deck with new composite decking and railings, and a new front door was also installed. It feels like a brand new home! John Fiore was our point of contact, and he was very professional, listened to what we wanted to achieve with this renovation, and executed our vision without issue. The end result has exceeded our expectations! John visited us consistently throughout the project to ensure that we were happy and they were meeting expectations. In addition, all of the workers were very professional and courteous. If they had any questions, they came to us and asked before proceeding to the next step. Overall, this project could not have been completed any smoother! We would definitely recommend American Home Remodeling, and plan on using them again in the future.

We had new siding and gutters put on our house and are very happy! John Fiore was very attentive and checked in throughout the job which I really appreciated. The siding crew and gutter crew were polite, professional and very hard workers. Everything was explained to me and if there were any questions, they would call to confirm what I wanted as the homeowner. From start to finish everything went smoothly and the house looks fantastic. I will def. use the company again for renovations in the future and would recommend.

I used American Home to renovate my house in Montclair. I had my roof, siding, steps, and windows done. They did an excellent job with quality workmanship. I could not recommend this company more, any question I had I called my project manager directly. They are professional and knowledgable. I will definitely be using American Home for my interior work as well.

a family member of mine used American Home Remodeling for some work in his home and recommended them to me when I needed a complete home renovation. I cant say anything negative about them. They were on time, personable, fairly priced, knowledgeable, and did great work! I will definitely be using them again when I add a second floor to my home next year!!!

I used this company to do my roof,siding and windows. Excellent prices and quality work. No complaints.. I dealt with a sales rep named Dan who thoroughly went through everything with me when it came time to discuss numbers, and any concerns I had when the work was in process... Would recommend this company to anyone who is interested doing home improvements.

Ive used them on 2 different occasions for a roof replacement on my garage and home. They cleaned up well, met agreed upon deadlines for work completion. Pricing was also very competitive, company acquired all necessary permits, and very smooth process. My husband and I were satisfied overall.

American home remodeling from my experience is a rip off..they over charge you as well..you better off finding the same exact sub contractors they gonna use yourself...but hey thats from my experience!! Recommendations 0
