Ive been here twice before for my eyebrows because my boyfriend lives close by and hes told me its cheaper than where i live. The first time i went i was treated well which was a year ago. the second time a few months ago it was only ehh and i had to do some touching up of my own.. and finally today i went and some fat, short lady took me. Never smiling (as others were doing to me) and she was SUPER BRUTAL! She attacked my face (i was getting eyebrows and lip done) not only was she brutal but her hands smelled like food which made me think she hadnt washed her hands in who knows how long, and she kept pushing my hands where she wanted them which didnt seem like proper etiquette, ANYONE should know not to be shoving peoples hands and arms up and down, especially an employee to a client. But to top it off when i got in my car and looked at my eyebrows in the sunlight my eyebrows and lip were super patchy! she left patches of hair everywhere I had to do half the job myself when i got home ridiculous. Also as someone else stated this place is DISGUSTINGLY UNHYGIENIC! There was strips with wax/hair on the counter where she was working on me and it looked like the place hadnt been sweeped in ages, plus there was a nasty odor. The people there are also super rude and loud while they are attending/working on you, speaking in their language. Half the time i wasnt sure if she was talking to me or other people. She was literally screaming in my ear. I will never go back and let me tell you, you get what you pay for! Rude people, crappy half-assed service and, probably one day, a disease!

I have been coming to Payal Beauty Salon for several years now. I drive over an hour to come here for threading and waxing. Dont know about the other ladies, my girl is Smita. She is absolutely fantastic!!!! She comes in early for me, takes me right in and has me out super fast. Her work is excellent!! There is another branch of this salon very close to my house, and I went there once but the people were quite rude and unwelcoming, so I just drive to Edison. Only thing I would ask of management is to allow customers to leave a tip via credit card...many of us dont carry cash, and I would like to continue tipping the hard working girls like Smita appropriately.

One of the worst place Ive ever been to. I went for Facial and the women there didnt know what she was doing. all she did was start the steam machine and put some cream on my face. Thats it. No massage nothing.Then she gave me her number and asked me to call her at home to do all the salon stuff and shell give me some discount. For eyebrows she did a horrible job too. She made two cuts and then as soon as another customer came in, she hastily completed my eyebrows leaving them undone and in a weird shape and gave me the bill. I had to go to a different salon to fix the damage. HORRIBLE PLACE. And EXTREMELY DIRTY. Save your money and Time.

Went in early morning for haircut...had to wait 25 mins..the lady who prepped my hair was too harsh trying to detangle the hair..kept pulling on them..the lady who cut hair was fast and quick...didnt pester me to buy other services ...15 bucks for haircut is not bad imo. ..drawbacks: long wait period, the hairdressers keep talking amongst themselves in gujrati, place is a little outdated & parking hard to fine..wld prefer this one over the next door tiptop salon where the main lady at counter tries to sell u the whole store...while getting the haircut saw many ppl getting eyebrows done..cant comment on other services..

I want to thank Smitha for everything. Me and my whole family have been getting our eyebrows threaded from her from the last 5-6 years. She has to be the BEST one in the salon, she always knows what shes doing. Im always satisfied with the look of my brows and so is my family. Me and my cousins have also been getting hairstyles done from Smitha for every event for years and she always always always does a great job!! If you do go to this Salon I would recommend you going to smitha cause shell make you look your best!! ❤️

Went there for facial today and they did an incomplete job! They didnt do steaming saying it wasnt working and its ok even without it. The masseuse later forgot to remove blackheads for me till i didnt remind her!! Wouldnt recommend anyone for atleast facial over here. Even waxing area is pretty unhygienic! Dear Owner - if youre reading this - better get your act in place before ppl stop coming to you. You already have enough competition around!

Horrible bullies. They literally forced me to get my face waxed instead of threading, and Boom, My face is all Burnt. I have tO put up witH marks on my face for another 6 months , until they disappear. PLEASE No body visit them any more. This place has to close or they have to go for some training, if they are really interested in this business. THEY HAVE TO SHUT DOWN IMMEDIATELY. THEY ARE NOT SAFE !

worst experience ever for HAIRCUT idk about threading. anyways I basically got bashed on my hair OVER AND OVER. I am all for a bit of advice but it is extremely rude when u constantly point it out in a rude way over and over to me and other ppl. besides the rude service, my hair wasnt what I wanted but it was decent. on top of that they kept me waiting for a while but on the bright side it was cheap.

Smita is amazing! She always knows what exactly I want! I came to Payal after having my eyebrows butchered at another salon. I had been letting them grow in for about a month and a half and they were a patchy mess. But Smita knew exactly what to do and my eyebrows are back to their former beauty! I cannot recommend her highly enough. This woman knows what she is doing!!

visited the one on Rt 27. They gave me a head massage... The girls kept on talking to each other and giggling at loud voice even while massaging. Not at all relaxing.we take massaging treatments for relaxasion..but i felt so uneasy there. price is reasonalble. cleanliness is okey..the liquid in which they keep the combs is dirty.They need to change it regularly

Currently the place is not really bad. They have a pretty good service and their prices are really reasonable. If you are visiting the salon for the first time and is unsure about their service, ask for Smrita, she is very nice lady. Her work is very efficient, fast and consistent.

I just went for eyebrows and it was just horrible! the lady , not sure of name - may be beena - was very over confident of herself and made different shape for 2 of my eyebrows.. I had been there couple of time , only some staff are efficient and overall experience is unhygienic

They do my eyebrows and waxing well, but its not very clinical or comfortable. The girls work hard. Tip to owner - revamp and style your salon - make it look modem and cheek. Try getting waxing beds rather then us for stand on a high table for the girls to wax.
