This post office is so slow and my mail carrier is incompetent. She does not like to deliver my mail every day. Including the fact that I have had a letter in my mail box with the flag up for them to take for two days which has not been picked up nor have they delivered mail. She also will refuse to deliver my packages if they require her getting off her lazy butt and actually getting out of the mail truck to walk them to the door. Instead, she would prefer to just leave a note in my box for me to come to the post office on the weekend to pick it up.

This place is horrible, they refuse to go down my road which is perfectly accessible, my mailbox is out in a dangerous main road because of this. Packages are never brought to my door because they are to damn lazy to drive down my road get the hell up out of the truck and bring them to my door. Ive missed time sensitive things because of them and closing at 5pm I cant make it there after work. LAZY, RUDE TO DEAL WITH IN PERSON. DO YOUR JOB AND DELIEVER MY DAMN MAIL !!

Missing mail.. Ive been waiting for 2 weeks on w separate items.. One ($100 gift card) was confirmed delivered to the lake hopatcong post office and now and dropped off the face of the earth and the second was confirmed delivered to the post office and was sent back to the sender.. Then to top it off the Ass clown at the front desk told me its not his problem that I have to pay for shipping AGAIN.

I remember going by boat from my familys summer house on Halsey Island to the old location in Great Cove to pick up the mail. Before my time, my grandfather and then my grandmother served as Postmasters. He had the PO at his bar (now the Windlass) and she had it in the entry of their home. Times have changed!

They constantly lie about not being able to deliver packages. They cram packages into your mailbox. They leave things laying on top of your mailbox. I have never had worse service in my life. Im considering a PO box in a nearby town so I dont have to deal with them again.

Renee is a perfect example of someone who has little customer service skills, knowledge on proper protocol, or willingness to help solve problems. She is in part why I cringe when dealing with the post office. She is also a reason why the Post Office loses $8 billion a year.

Terrible customer service. Slow. Know your rates before going there, they will grossly overcharge you. Great location, roomy, air conditioned. Too bad CS is rude. Go to Sparta, they are so pleasant and knowledgeable.
