Went there by mistake ... the one across the street that I usually went to was closed early! They were very gracious and helpful with me and my adult daughter, and we loved the results! Great advice overall. I loved the fact that they did not push product yet had good suggestions, and the brand I wanted to try. Very low-key and pleasant. Planning on going again the next time we are in Short Hills -- may plan our visits around our haircut needs! (BTW, I did read reviews online before going in, and they were all good.) We were impressed that the owner (we think, Rimon) was sweeping up and straightening up! A good team, it seems.

Highly skilled, personable and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure each clients results are nothing less than perfection. Rimon is magic with haircolor! I havent had more people stop me on the street to ask about my haircolor in years! Not only have I referred numerous inquisitive "strangers on the street" to Rimon, my friends and family go to Avalon as well! We love it!
