My family has been going to Bernies since they moved to NJ, and every time weve been its been a pleasant experience. Ive been to too many mechanics where I bring the car in for a simple oil change and they call me up with a $1000 repair bill with a bunch of things wrong with the car that "need to be fixed". With Bernies, you just call in the morning, drop the car off, and unless they need to order parts, you can usually pick it up same day. Unless its a safety matter, they do what you ask them to and nothing more. BJ and Lloyd are both very friendly and professional, and the mechanics are all very knowledgeable and experienced. I just brought my car in to have an oil change and parking brake adjustment, and aside from the low bill ($64) they also topped up my windshield wiper fluid and coolant no charge. Not a big deal to most people, but it shows that they care about their work. Would recommend these guys to anyone.

Im a satisfied customer for more than 20 years of Bernies. Ive known Bernie and now his son, BJ, to be fair, honest and trustworthy. Our extended family has maintained all sorts of cars at Bernies--both new, used and cars on their last legs. Ford, BMW, Audi, Buick, Honda, Lexus--they do it all. Weve bought used cars for our kids from Bernies, assured that they know the history of the cars maintenance. Ive brought used cars to Bernie to evaluate. Theyve always acted as trustworthy counselors, providing advice as to when to repair and when to move on and buy another car. In short, recommend Bernies highly.

I have been a customer of Bernies for years. With my wife and I and our three children we have 5 cars which is quite an expense! Bernies has consistently been our go to for all of our auto needs, there service, quality and cost have been outstanding. In fact the other day my 18 year old daughter was stuck at the mall with her car not starting and BJ personally drove there to handle the situation himself!! You cant find better than that!!
