First time I was there was during their Grand Opening Sale. $6.99 hair cut days, very crowded , new shop new staff.Was unable to get a haircut. When I finally got in a chair,the girl was so new she didnt know what to do,so i gave a bad review... to Danielle. Today , more than a year later, I went back. I sat in the chair, no wait, I said just make it shorter. My hair was a total mess. It looked like Albert Einsteins hair. This time, I don;t think it took more than 15 minutes and Voila Total transformation. Danielle, had the skills , but now she has the confidence that comes with years of experience. The whole staff there from what I have seen are consummate professionals. Expertly dealing with special situations, like fidgety crying 4 year olds,picky 74 year olds, and special need customers.Even like me who hasnt had a haircut in a year and a half. The first 5 people I met after going to Great clips of Marlboro, complemented me on my haircut. Ill be back!

I went to get a haircut because it was recommended. and I got a coupon for $8.99 grand opening, so i give it a shot.First thing the guy says i have to be put in the system. He has to know name address, zip, phone, What the heck is this i just want a haircut, so i get a chair and the girl says "what do you want" i tell her a regular hair cut, she says clipper or scissors, i say both, she says what number, i dont know i just want a haircut... "How do they do that" she asks me, "because they do it all different ways she says."...I am thinking I must be her first customer... Havent you ever done this before? I am thinking she wants me to cut my own hair. I say to her "never mind," she says "Oh Good" I take off the apron and walk out, no haircut.

Airhead receptionist answers the phone today, I believe her name was Kaitlyn. I asked her if she knows whether or not the salon has a barber or stylist experienced in cutting African American hair. Best response that she offered...she "um, like doesnt know about that stuff". About hair? About the salon? About anything other than cupcakes and rainbows? About what stuff exactly Im not sure. A salon that is in such a central location sadly in 2016 needs to step it up. If you dont hire qualified people to answer questions with a drop of intelligence, your business is represented in a very ugly way and you get 1-star reviews. The one star is for the fact that I couldnt select a big fat zero.

You cant beat the price; 15 bucks for a mans haircut. The wait time is usually pretty good, 5 to 10 mins on average, but I would still recommend checking in online before you come. If you do end up coming on a busy day there is a Game Stop and a Starbucks to keep you entertained right next door. The customer service is great; everyone is friendly and even when they are busy they address every customer in a reasonable amount of time. Lastly, the quality of haircut is worthy of the price. Now I do have simple short hair for a guy, but Im almost always perfectly satisfied, and they are always willing to touch things up in the rare chance that Im not.

their a poor excuse of a salon the owners dont even know how to cut hair themselves their all about YOUR money, how the hell are u gunna open a a salon if you have no idea what your looking for if the hairstylists are even using proper or sensible techniques. i cut hair myself and they go by a timing system... which a customer has to be in the chair between 13 to 17 MINS! are u out of your mind! dont get me wrong but thats crazy the only kind of hair cut your gunna get at that rate is a f**ked up one which ive seen ALOT that place is a joke i dont recommend anyone going to any type of great clips...you all just been warned

They keep sending me coupon on Facebook. I showed that coupon on phone and I was told that you need to print this. i dont see anything in the ad that you need to print the coupon. Lady refused to use the coupon stating its their owners policy. I had to pay full price. Not a big deal. But sure would think twice before going there again . Idea of you sending me coupon via facebook on mobile phone is that you dont need to print it..

First time they ask you if you want to create a file in their database. Its ok if you dont, but if you dedicate one minute to it, itll save you a lot of time on all your next visits. Plus, theyre nice people, so why not to live in 21st century? :-)
