The worst customer service ever. This location was very unprofessional. My fiancée used Ulta in watchung, NJ for her hair and makeup for our engagement party and she looked flawless, so she decided to use the Ulta in Clark, hoping for the same customer service she had received. So, she booked her hair and make up appointment for a formal look for a pre wedding photo shoot weeks in advanced. She got there 10 minutes before her appointment and waited about 30 minutes for her turn. Once she told the stylist what she envisioned for the photo shoot, the stylist said the appointment was booked for a blow out and make-up. If they called the day before to confirm the details of the appointment this could have been avoided. Also, the stylist mentioned she would only have time for either the hair or make up, so my fiancée decided to get her hair curled and did her own makeup. Ulta did not accommodate us even though this mistake was on their end. The icing on the cake was... An hour after leaving Ulta, the curls became loose and messy! I have contacted the store regarding this issue since I had to reschedule my photoshoot, and ulta never contacted back. My fiancée contacted corporate, and still no response. Never ever using them again....

This was my first time going to the Beauty Salon. The Manager of the Salon Courtney took care of me. I trusted that she knew what she was doing being shes a Certified Hair Stylist and the Manager. To my SURPRISE, SHE DOES NOT KNOW WHAT THE HECK SHES DOING!!!!! IM SO UPSET,at the outcome of my hair color. I had to tell her 3 times look at my hair, you not living my hair like that!!! On top of that, she cant BLOW DRY HAIR EITHER!!! I WOULDNT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE IN CLARK, NJ to anyone!!!! So upset how she mess up my hair ,and EXTREMELY UPSET that I paid $97..... I SHOULD GET MY MONEY BACK!! AND THEY NEED TO HIRE REAL PROFESSIONALS!!!!

This is my least favorite Ulta. Every other location has a nice and helpful staff. Unfortunately, I have had a bad experience every time I visit or call this location. Staff on the floor are not helpful and even seem uninterested in speaking to customers. The last 2 times I visited, other customers in the store shared the same terrible service. The cashier made multiple errors when I checked out and I had to correct it. Over the phone, the salon was rude. Overall, just not pleasant. Dont go here if you want to talk to someone about products or have a pleasant experience. Just go to the Watchung one.

I have been going to this location for some time and would work with different hairstylists every time. The last time I went there (8-21-16) Sade was the hairstylist I worked with. I was going from blonde to bronde. Meaning that I was dropping my root and darkening my very blonde ends a bit. I showed Sade a picture of what I want, we discussed the process and selected the colors. Not only was she efficient, the color turned out PERFECT. I love it. I dont say that often so I was very happy with the results. I highly recommend her.

This used to be my favorite ulta location. As of lately, I see that theyve hired a lot of new sales associates. THEY HAVE TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICES SKILLS. Not pleasant to speak to at all, or helpful whatsoever. Ive came here multiple times thinking maybe I just caught the employees on a bad day but no theyre just awful. They need to start training their employees properly. Terrible experience. If I could give them 0 stars I would.

The cashiers are more helpful than the staff at premier counters/areas. Every time I go to this location I have to hunt down someone to help me, and they seem more concerned with chit chat or texting than to help cutomers. If you go in and know exactly what you want, great. But if you are going and you need some help - you will have better luck at Sephora or any other ulta location. Do yourself a favor and shop on the app instead.

Worst ulta store. Found a product online and it showed as available in the store. I know online is not always reliable so i attempted to call the store for two days about 20 times but no answer. No one EVER answers the phone. I decide to drive to the store and of course they didnt have it. The sales associate then tells me that i should of called first. How funny. Ulta should never be the exclusive supplier of a new product.

Never coming to this place again!! I went to get my makeup done for prom and it was a disaster the "makeup artist" put glittler all over my eye and didnt even blend my eyeshadow correctly I wish I had a picture! Worst $50 spent. I was crying when I left because she didnt want to fix it! I had to go back home and do my makeup all over again.

Every time I go I always get the best service and help. Everyone is ALWAYS extremely friendly. I just recently went to the salon for the first time and Sade helped me. I absolutely LOVEE how she did my hair. She did such a great job at such an affordable price.

The employees have no idea what products they carry. Nothing like calling to see if they have a specific item and they say YES WE DO! So you drive all the way there right away just for thexample manager to say NO! WE DO NOT CARRY IT...

Awful customer service. The girls are more concerned with caking even more makeup on their overdone faces than helping a customer. Go to Sephora they are much more knowledgeable and friendlier. Wont be back here.
