This storage facility is everything the owner claims, and more. With the friendly assistance of Steve, the Assistant Director, my wife and I were able to arrange in two days for 600 square feet of storage space to hold the contents of our home in Virginia which suddenly sold after a long marketing period. As a precursor of things to come, Steve assisted us with the space estimate and rent quotes from his home computer and cell phone, all after hours on his own time, including conferring with the coordinator of our interstate move to ensure we had the right amount of space. He subsequently communicated with the truck drivers and crew leader as they drove North to make sure that the loading docks were available upon arrival. When our crew arrived much later than expected, Steve stayed late to allow them to complete the unloading. The Westy facilities are not retrofit buildings. Instead the appear to have been designed and built from the ground up to make it easy for customers to unload with a minimum of effort. There are rolling carts akin to the ones bellman use in hotels which enable the user to roll items directly into the storage unit, the ease of which is facilitated by the perfect height of the docks. This facility looks brand-new and is impeccably maintained. It is well lit, and a comfortable temperature and humidity. We are very pleased. First rate.

After having used a number of storage facilities in/around NYC for years, Westy in Norwood stands out in every way. From the very first moment from speaking to the the sale representative to the manager and entire staff including the driver on premises, everyone is very impressive in utmost professionalism, warm courtesy and welcoming friendliness. Unlike the rather scary and desolate storage units that abound in the marketplace, I genuinely enjoy and look forward to going to Norwood to my storage unit. They recognize who you are and make you feel like a true customer and not an anonymous renter. The premises are as they claim - clean, well-kept, climate-controlled, updated, sunny and most of all, safe. It actually feels like a hotel - in a good way. I have referred Westy to anyone I know as Im confident that it meets and surpasses the usually prickly New Yorkers high standards - myself being one of them! I only wish I discovered them earlier. Its a real gem and definitely one of the best-kept secrets in NYC.

This thank you is two years overdue. If I could give a rating of 10 stars, I would. EVERYONE, and especially Ron, at your Norwood location, has been absolutely terrific. Helpful, friendly, genuinely concerned about offering the best service and peace of mind. I had to move office files and supplies into Westy on very short notice as the office space I had been renting for 12 years was suddenly no longer available. When a local Westy truck was not available on such short notice, Ron Gangeri arranged for a truck from Elmsford to go to my office in Allendale and wait while we loaded it. They then drove to the Norwood location and they again waited while we unloaded it. Since then I have increased my space twice and each time everyone made it easier than could possibly be expected. I recommend the services of Westy Self Storage, and I would like to share my excellent experience with this company, because I was looked after through service beyond duty and thorough attention, the staff is extremely polite, always ready and willing to help, additionally, I owe a lot to VINCENT IMPERATO, which was former as an ANGEL and surpassed my expectation I have of an Associate. I have no words to explain how grateful I am for the help he gave me. Because of an emergency I Had to move on my own, but he was with me, helping me in everything, until the end. Ive never seen people in the business with so much willing full care towards a simple and single client.

My wife and I just moved out of the city into her parents house while we wait to close on a house. We needed a storage unit to store our belongings and Westy came highly recommended. The facility is awesome. Its clean, has large elevators and plenty of rolling carts to move things in. I cant speak more highly of the staff. All of the staff members are professional and treat customers amazingly. Especially Ron. Everytime we show up to move stuff into our unit were greeted w/a smile and a couple of ice cold waters. Westy even has a moving truck they make available to customers for free! If your looking for a storage unit... stop and go to Westy

We just moved out of our storage room after one year and from beginning to end we had nothing but a great experience on each end. Courteous professional service, clean immaculate facility and awesome security! What more could you ask? The facility was a hike for us - but due to availability we had no choice but to travel further away - Westys made good for that by giving us the first 3 months free as well as a free truck to move our stuff into the Norwood facility (I am closer to Elmsford)! BEST STORAGE PLACE IN US! This location is clean, affordable and safe, but more importantly this place has a guy named Steve working there. This man gave me proof that there are still good people left in this world. Stuck in traffic with a mattress hanging out of my car, Steve waited an extra hour past closing to make sure I arrived safely, put my mattress into storage and left. It was honestly remarkable service. TOP NOTCH! Cheers to Steve for his selflessness, helpfulness and care! That mattress would be in the trash if it werent for Westys! -Aaron

Have rented from Westys for over a year. The place is impeccable. Moved from another local storage facility around the corner and there is no comparison. Pricing is fair, hours are totally fine and the place is clean enough to eat off the floor. Ron has always been a pleasant, helpful and totally professional manager. This operation is fantastic and anyone who finds fault in this facility will be hard-pressed to find anything better anywhere. Well done!

The BEST storage facility around!!!!! I have been a customer of Westys for years and the facility and the staff are superb. Every visit is just as impressive as the last...pristine floors, temperature/climate controlled; great lighting, great access...it truly has become a home away from home and I am grateful that I never had to worry about my personal belongings stored away at Westy...simply the BEST!!!!

Westys in Norwood has exceeded my expectations! My husband & I moved to this area from Massachusetts 5 months ago & stored almost all our worldly possessions at Westys while waiting to find a place to buy. Our very large storage room on the first floor was without dampness, odors, or insects. Ron & Stephanie are very competent, efficient professionals who make coming to Westys a very pleasant experience.
