The worst gym ever! We moved shortly after signing up, unfortunately unexpected, more than 30 miles away! They apparently have no leniency for cancellations. Ive never heard of a gym not canceling a membership because you moved. We are giving them our money for no reason! We cant even use their facility because of how far away we are now. Absolutely ridiculous and horrible customer service. Very rude owners ! Update: so finally gave these people a year of my money and now they are telling my fiancé and I that we have to pay another month because apparently the first month payment " doesnt count " Absolutely not ! I have been a member since May and signed up for 12 months which means I cancel for May. I didnt sign up for a 13 month contract. Trying to scam every dollar they can get! A bunch of swindlers ! STAY AWAY

I went to Monmouth University and always ended up at the chain gyms in the area, missing my local gym at home so much. One day I came across Ultimate Fitness and it seemed all of my prayers had been answered...I finally found a gym in Monmouth County where I felt totally comfortable with the staff and the members, never felt judged, and Eddie the owner was friendly and helpful right from day one. When I moved back into the area a year after I graduated, the first thing I did was renew my membership there! All of the staff is knowledgeable and personable, and they have great equipment... and you cant beat their hours! Love this place!

I work in the area and stumbled upon this gym!!! Eddie, the owner, is very friendly and even gave me some great tips on working out!!!! I have always been intimidated going to the gym and tend to flock to the for women only section but at Ultimate Fitness it is very quaint and the staff is always helpful which makes me feel very comfortable about working out. Ultimate Fitness is the ULTIMATE in staff, equipment and fitness!!!

I moved to Howell years ago but loved Ultimate Fitness so much that for two years, I made the 15 mile (one way) trip almost every day so I could continue to work out there. There is a wide variety of equipment and the owner, Eddie, was instrumental in helping me stay fit by instructing me in proper form and diet. Hard to find a gym in my area with the personal touch like Ultimate Fitness.

Pros: 24 hours, great for my work schedule, price isnt terrible, and conveniently located near where I live. Eddie is a really nice guy and very fair. Excellent customer service. Cons: This gym is outdated. The equipment is from the stone age and the place itself is in serious need of a facelift.
