At beginning of this year I had made the decision to start looking to better my career. It was shortly there after that I was contacted by Giana regarding a contract to permanent position with Tektronix. While I was looking for a change, I was in a full time permanent position with health benefits, looking to move into a new position with the same. I was nervous about taking the position as I was burned in the past with contract work. I was looking for a new, permanent "home". My biggest concern was what was going to happen at the end of the contract. What was the possibility and probability of going permanent after the contract ended? I had explained this to Giana. She was extremely patient with my questions and concerns and explained there was a strong possibility of going permanent after the contract period ended. She was very reassuring, setting my mind at ease. I am happy to announce that Tektronix is making me a permanent employee effective October 25, after my contract is complete. Had it not been for her hard work, and professionalism, reassuring words and personality, I would have let a phenomenal opportunity pass me by. Another point I wish to bring up is that when ever I had a question, she would always answer the phone, or if she did happen to be away from her desk, she was very prompt to return the call or respond to email. I have worked with other recruiters (both with Aerotek, as well as other companies) who were, sometimes, very difficult to get a hold of. For me, this is huge. Because I am the type of person who makes every attempt to return a call or email, the fact she was always prompt in returning mine has been very comforting.

After graduating college, I ended up using three different staffing companies to help me find a job, and I can say without a doubt, Aerotek was the most helpful of the three. When I first came into contact with their recruiter (by the way ask for Joshua Mordkoff, he is extremely helpful, honest, and is willing to do the leg work necessary to make this process as easy as possible for you), he first worked through my resume, weeding out any possible selling points. Then after setting up my first interview, he provided me with a detailed report on the people who I was going to interview with, what they were looking for in a candidate, and the company itself. Once I familiarized myself with these details, he actually took me out to dinner so we could discuss the plan of attack for the interview and any additional selling points that he found from discussions with my former bosses. On the day of the interview, there was an Areotek recruiter who arrived at the location of the interview to go over any final points and helped assure me that the interview was going to go fine. Several hours after the interview, Josh called me and provided me with feedback regarding the positives and negatives regarding the interview. Finding that first job can be a long and arduous task, so having a person like Joshua Mordkoff and the rest of the Aerotek team there to work as hard as you are in finding that job is indispensable.

I had the pleasure of working with Cesar Cruz and Mike Basile. I first met Cesar about a year ago looking for a new job opportunity and shortly after our meeting, I became unable to work due to unforeseen events. A year later after our meeting I got a call from Cesar about an opportunity. I was extremely impressed that after a year later, he still remembered me and thought to give me a call with an amazing opportunity. During the interview process, both Mike and Cesar were very thorough in making sure I was prepared. They even went as far as calling me on the day of the interview to not only practice but as well as to answer any last minute questions that I had. All in all, I would not have been able to get this amazing job opportunity with their help. I highly recommend the great service that the staff at Aerotek Parsippany provides. I have been working in the computing industry for thirty years and the people at Aerotek surpass anything Ive experienced in the way that they integrate people into positions. Aerotek actually creates an understanding between the job seeker and the employer. There is more to employment than the technical qualifications of the employee or the job requirements of the employer. The people I worked with at Aerotek in Parsippany, Geoffrey, Kyle and all, actually understand the peculiar aspects of a position and try for a good working relationship between the employee and the employer. Its valuable to the employee and also to the employer, to place a carefully vetted candidate into the right position. I think that the Aerotek folks in Parsippany add credibility to a job application. A great job.

I had started working for Aerotek in June 2015, when Tyler Gulick had reached out to me about a position. This agency is like no other that I have ever worked for. That position had ended and Tyler Gulick along with Melissa Casey (back up support when Tyler was at an off-site training) had placed me in a new position that starts next week! I cant tell you what it feels like to be in great hands! Other agencies submit you for a position and you never hear from them. Aerotek is different with taking the time to meet before the interview, to prepare and just the great advice that is shared. They never forget about you!
