Even I heard from my friends, this daycare in Rutgers is nice with good student/teacher ratio. I still give one star in the following reasons: 1) I dont like the assistant directors communications style. Actually, I like her when I visit the daycare at the beginning. She is kind and knowledgeable about education. Even I find the hardware is not so good, I still start enrollment application because it is near my working. She told me there might be some openings in Mar 2011. After that, the things changed.... But when you called her, she was always busy and told you to call her sometimes later. She didn’t reply your e-mail. Even we already in the waiting list for one year, she still told us that they might be chance to take my daughter this year. It is very easy for the daycare center to make sure when the openings appear. She just used the trick to make her waiting list full. When I asked her to open the waiting list, she didnt reply. I DON NOT recommend anybody for this daycare about the uncertain openings. 2) The facility is not good. It just has a small bathroom for all the students. The bathroom is not so clean. You cant image how they do potty training for toddlers. The classroom is small and dark. Good thing is the separation of toddlers from big kids.

This daycare is very difficult to get in not because it is very good, but rather their small enrollment and low efficiency. The facilities are very old and curriculum is outdated. I works in Rutgers. So I considered this one at first. People are blinded by the mere fact that it is very hard to get in and thought it is because this school is very good. I learned from my colleagues that I needed to start early and I could be on the waiting list for more than one year. So I applied for enrollment to 2yr class when my daughter was just four month old. However, in this long time waiting period, they decided to made some changes and asked all the people on the waiting list to re-register. I missed their email and miss the deadline to re-register. But as soon as I found out, I emailed back and asked to be put back to waiting list. They just dont reply email. After my experience of finding a day care for my daughter, I found out there are actually a lot of good schools in the area. I felt really lucky that I did not get stuck in this one.

In our opinion, there is only one gold-standard for day care for our boys -- that is RLDCC. The staff and curriculum have had a meaningful and lasting influence on our children. I tell everyone at Rutgers to put their children on the waiting list...as soon as they get pregnant! Simply cannot provide a stronger endorsement.

Terrible people, very rude. Never response your emails and never keep what they promised.
